WHO: Eva and Justin
WHERE: Start in the restaurant bar
WHEN: Monday Night
WHAT: After 'work' drinks
RATING: TBD
The soft sort of half smile she'd worn the entire evening was permanently etched into her cheeks. Or at least that was the way it felt. It didn't seem to want to fade away even though the last of the guests they had spent the evening mingling with and eating food that was far too artistically plated to actually be called food. Her mother would be so astonished to see her daughter so beautifully cleaned up in a tasteful black dress and being pleasant with others. Eva would never tell her mother though, never give her the satisfaction of knowing that she was so capable.
It was quite easy actually. She wasn't Eva when she was on Justin's arm smiling and flirting with older muggle men who enjoyed her attentions far too much. No, she was some other girl who didn't have the weight of a thousand mistakes pushing down on her shoulders. She was Evangeline. At least that was how she liked to refer to herself, this alter ego.
The evening was over though and Eva wasn't quite ready to return to her life, her thoughts, her tiny little flat. After they had made all their good byes, shaking hands and smiling until next time, Eva crooked her finger and inclined her head toward the very posh bar outside the private dining rooms that had been reserved for this particular benefit dinner. It wasn't full, not on a Monday night. In fact they were practically the only patrons which was perhaps the ideal situation. She knew Justin. Knew that a crowded club or bar was not his scene. "Mr. Finch Fletchley, I think you deserve a drink for an evening well done." She said with a smile as she crooked her finger over her shoulder and let her heels guide her towards the bar.
