This year, we hope to have a fest that will meet everyone's Snarry needs. Besides the currently posting Snarry Swap, we will be hosting three additional fests at snape_potter: Snarry-a-Thon12, The Severus/Harry Big Bang, and Secret Snarry Swap. For those who like to create longer fic, there is the Big Bang. For those who like to work from prompts with no limitations in either direction on length, there is Snarry-a-Thon12, and for those who like an Exchange fest and bite-sized entries during the busy end of the year holidays, there is Secret Snarry Swap.

Typically Snarry-a-Thon posting has always begun on Easter. However, since Easter is earlier this year and we feel we've more than resurrected the Snarry around here ;D, your mods have to decided to push the date back until May for this round. Check out the calendar for all the relevant details, but please note that all Snarry-a-Thon12 entries are due April 15. Because there are only 3 certainties in life: death, taxes, and Snarry. ;D More information will be coming soon!

One of the more popular suggestions from the feedback poll we posted at the end of last year was that we host a Big Bang in place of one of our annual Snarry fests. Since our Autumn fest has a revolving theme, this year the theme for the Autumn fest will be the Severus/Harry Big Bang. You can find detailed information here.

While we will not be adhering to the strict definition of a Big Bang which requires fic to be a minimum of 50k, we will be requiring a minimum length of 12k for O.W.L. level participants and 25k for participants who will be trying for their N.E.W.T.s. Since the goal of the Severus/Harry Big Bang is the creation of longer fics we will be holding sign-ups for our Autumn fest far earlier than usual to allow both authors and artists enough time to create something truly special.

Our final fest will be Secret Snarry Swap with details to come closer to sign-ups.
