On the Snarry Friending Meme (which you can find on snape_potter at LiveJournal, InsaneJournal, or Dreamwidth) one of the questions we ask is for people to list their top three favorite Snarry fics. Almost everyone noted that it was next to impossible to pare down their selections to ‘only three’. Well, now we'd like to make it even harder. We’d like you to list your all-time, single most favorite Snarry story. The story you re-read a dozen times and it still makes you as excited as the first time you read it. The one Snarry fic that you'd take with you on a desert island.

So, we're asking you for the impossible – tell us your favorite Snarry story and why you chose it. We realize this can change daily, but today, which one would you pick?

On October 23th, 2000, Majolique posted the first Snape/Harry fic, Midnight Confessions. Today, ten years later, snape_potter on IJ, LJ and DW are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first Snarry fic ever written.

Artist's Notes: This is a re-post of my first entry for the Snarry Games and I felt like I needed to re-post it now because it so clearly illustrates my view of Snarry throughout the years. When I originally created this piece, my intention was to illustrate my idea of romance not just between Severus and Harry, but all couples. So when I found this quote, I knew I had to build my art around it:

I posted my first Snarry story, Life after Voldemort on ff.net in the fall of 2004, reposting it at hpfandom on December 15,2004. It was a WIP that ultimately contained 48 chapters, 116,000 words and was finished August 8, 2006. It needs to be overhauled could stand re-editing and some day, I hope to do that.
