Luke/Noah Fan Community

Please place ALL SPOILERS behind an LJ-cut. This rule also applies for fan fiction and icon posts. Please be considerate of those who may not have gotten to watch the latest episodes yet. Not everyone is able to watch the show live because of work, time zones, etc. Therefore, posts about scenes/episodes that have just aired should also be placed behind a cut. I've gotten a few emails about this issue today and so I'm reminding everyone here again about this rule.

A couple of things...

1. The second annual Project Holiday Spirit campaign was launched this week. If you'd like to know more about the cause/campaign (and if you'd like to make a donation), please visit the official site.

2. I would just like to remind our members to please, PLEASE tag your posts. For instructions on how to do this, please see this FAQ.

3. Also, for those who are having trouble with creating LJ-cuts, please read this page. For our authors here, please make sure that there are no huge gaps/spaces between the paragraphs of your story in order for the LJ-cut to work.

4. Finally, here is a list of Luke/Noah spoilers from various sources. These are for the week of Dec. 1-5, 2008:

Luke and Noah will be on Monday (Dec.1) and Luke will be on the show again on Tuesday (Dec. 2) and Wednesday (Dec.3).

Hello!

There have been some discussions about whether or not we should allow posts about Van and Jake's personal lives in this community and my co-mod, onefortythree, even created a poll to gauge members' opinions regarding the matter. Judging by the poll results, most of you think that it's all right to discuss the actors' personal lives. And since that's the case, we are going to continue to allow such discussions to be posted here in our comm. However, we ask that you follow some simple rules when making this kind of posts:

1. Please place any entries/posts about the actors' personal lives behind an LJ-cut and please use the appropriate labels (subject lines and LJ-cut texts) and tags. We believe that this is a fair compromise for everyone here. For those who don't want to read about this topic then this is the best possible way to avoid them altogether.

2. Speculating about an actor's private life is one thing but until Van and Jake go on record about their personal lives, please avoid stating what you know or what you think you know as facts.

And that's it. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions (and even violent reactions :-P) regarding this, please feel free to email me at 1miracle [at] livejournal [dot] com.
