I meant to post this last night, but I went right to bed considering the whole waking up at dawn thing that happened today. I should have known agreeing to volunteer on a farm=waking up at dawn. Which there’s fresh corn and some fruits down in the fridge on the bottom floor for whoever wants to use it!

I do not know exactly who to bring this up with, so I will just inquire in a general sense. As it is getting colder at night, I have come to realize my house, which is Victorian, has no centralized heating. Now I realize getting a modern heating system installed would not only be expensive, but entirely invasive on my home, which I would rather not do. As it stands, the method of heating I currently have is a fireplace in each room, which leaves the hallways and bathrooms to be, well, frigid in the winter. I am uncertain how cold the winters in Kansas can get, but I assume my roommates would not like part of the house to be completely frigid. So is there an easy way I can have my house heated without spending a fortune on firewood?
