It might be better to wait until Ruby and I get back so we can help you keep an eye on him, unless there are people over there that you can trust to help watch him first? I don't know if Jack will mind, though he's been understanding enough so far. Booth might not have an issue with it either and, if need be, I can talk to Anna about hanging around the outside of the complex, that way she'll be able to stop Dean if he gets outside somehow.

I wanted to apologize for last night. Because of some previous experiences with reactions to River's abilities I took something you said in an emotional moment and blew it out of proportion. I don't think anyone here is on a crusade to harm my sister specifically any more than I do at all times with all people and your being as understanding as you were in that moment is appreciated.

I hope you can understand my having a reaction equivalent to a jumpy trigger finger... she wasn't always like this, unable to block everything out. It was done to her, and it took me four years, from when she was fourteen to seventeen, to get to the place where it was happening and get her out. I've apparently become insufferably overprotective as a result. Still, that doesn't excuse my getting so hostile last night, especially given what you were going through. It wasn't appropriate and it certainly wasn't the time.

I know you're going to be busy with family stuff, so I can just take care of the Ava thing if you want? I'm going to tell my family and Clark soon and the building seems strong enough, so if I know the books I need I can get the preparation done pretty quickly, especially with the others helping. Oh, and it turns out the house was sort of haunted. Kon and I took care of it, though, I think. I mean, we remembered it was burn the bones and...some sort of kitchen thing so we just dumped pepper and salt and thyme and whatever was in the spice cabinets on them before Kon set them on fire. So hopefully that got rid of it and everything should be ready for building.

It's just...Ava may have caught on? She seems to have gone to ground and I can't sense her. I'll find her though. No need to go shoot her or anything?
