Who: Kamal and Charlie
What: Having heard that Charlie was hurt in the battle, Kamal is going to check up on her.
When: Mid-morning, September 1
Where: Charlie's apartment

Kamal's day was already off to a great start. He'd gone to the infirmary to visit Charlie first thing in the morning - in the rain, no less - only to find that she had already checked herself out. He was worried sick about her to begin with, and this did absolutely nothing to ease his mind. Dammit, if she needed to be in the infirmary, she should be in the infirmary! Not to mention that this meant another trip across campus in the rain to get to her apartment.

Now outside the door, Kamal took off his jacket and shook the water out of it before knocking. He still felt damp, and had a sneaking suspicion that the humidity was playing hell with his hair, but there was nothing that could be done about that.

WHO: Charlie and Lindsey
WHAT: Charlie is apologizing to Lindsey. Again.
WHEN: 8/29 around 5 pm
WHERE: Lindsey's apartment

Charlie stood in front of Lindsey's door, just staring at the wood. How many times had she done this now? Too many to count, and it certainly wouldn't be the last, if her temper had anything to do with it. She shifted the large basket on her arm so the handle wasn't digging into her skin so painfully. It was laden down with her usual peace offering- several home made burgers and a large box of fries drowning in her homemade cheese sauce. She'd also brought a bucket of ice cream she'd picked up from the store, just in case. Mixing it up never hurt, after all.

She really couldn't delay any longer- she'd been been standing here for a good five minutes. God, she hated doing this. She didn't even get to hope that he wasn't home- his trail ended here. Unless of course he had jumped out the window... She shook her head at her own silliness. Taking a deep breath, Charlie reached forward and knocked on the door. "Here we go again."

WHO: Charlie, Will and OPEN
WHAT: Being bored outside
WHEN: August 27, around 10 in the morning
WHERE: Under a tree outside

Charlie was bored.

She had come outside that morning with the full intent of reading a book in the shade of her favorite tree, but she quickly grew impatient with her book and ended up tossing it away. 'Hamlet' was a stupid play anyways- all Hamlet ever did was whine. Now of course, Charlie had nothing to do, and she didn't particularly feel like getting up to do something else, which left her in the unfortunate situation she was now in. She tried to come up with things to do, but found she didn't really feel like doing them.

Getting up was a good idea, but she would have nothing to do. She didn't like sparring alone so that was out. She could finally apologize to Lindsey, but Charlie was worried he might still be mad at her and she didn't have any food for a peace offering. She had just been in town, and clearly reading another book was out of the running. She really just couldn't think of anything else to do, which left her sitting there being utterly and completely bored.

WHO: Ethan, Adina, Quinn and open if anyone's interested
WHAT: WATER BALLOON FIGHT
WHEN: August 20th, Noon O Clock
WHERE: The lawns of main campus. :D

Ethan had spent the better part of half an hour lurking in one of the maple trees on campus, hoping for a victim. It was an impossibly hot day, the sun scalding down on Angel Grove and California like it was trying to roast the state. Wiping sweat from his brow, Ethan peered through the green leaves, hoping for anyone to drop his water balloon on. As he leaned forward, the brunette slipped a little and made a yelping noise, his free hand darting up to grab at a branch. Oh what an irony that would be. A Ranger falling and breaking a limb because he was goofing around in a tree.

Below him, right near where he had left his oh-so-inconspicuous bucket of water balloons, was a flash of movement. Dark hair, colorful clothes.... without any thought Ethan released the pink balloon in his hand, shouting out "Bombs away!" as it fell. He would either have a partner in crime in the next few minutes-- or a mortal enemy. Either way he couldn't wait.

WHO: Staffan, Penny, Kamal, Charlie, Lindsey, Angela, and Jake.
WHAT: Hanging out.
WHERE: The pool.
WHEN: 8/13 Evening.

With everything going on lately, all the stress that most of the rangers have been feeling, Staffan and Kamal decided to try and do something about it. Staffan, in particular, wasn't out to have fun, but he felt at least comfortable around the other rangers. Something told him that they should just stick together, and at least try to relax and not stress out over the current situation. It wasn't much, just a simple hang out at the pool that day. Food and drinks were provided, of course.

For Staffan, it was just to take his mind off things as he floated in the pool, looking out over the scene in front of him. He was around people he knew and liked, people he could consider a second family, and right now, that is what was important to him. Beer in one hand, he paddled around the water with his other, the inflatable lounger he was on not cooperating much to his dismay. With a groan, he set his bottle between his legs, trying to keep it from spilling as he used both hands to paddle in the water. As soon as he did, though, his luck took a turn and he flopped straight into the water, beer bottle and all.

Surfacing a few moments later, he glanced around with pursed lips, "That wasn't funny, so don't even laugh!"

[info]lindseyshines

WHO: Lindsey, Kamal, Quinn and Charlotte
WHAT: Working out and talking
WHERE: Obstacle course, outdoors
WHEN: August 10th, 2009 - mid afternoon

Lindsey had done his best to avoid his other teammates since the attack on the school, irritated that he'd been taken down so easily, upset that he'd been put under watch for his concussion, told to stay away from trouble for the week. He'd healed and was fine, and he'd be damned if he stayed behind when it came time to go out again. Precautions were precautions, but he was a Ranger and he had duties. Not... that he could perform them at the moment. With the grid down, there wasn't a whole lot anyone could do about much of anything. The cities they'd been assigned to had been overrun with crime in the short time they'd been cut off from their powers, the entire country falling down faster than anyone could blink. It wasn't fair.

I'll kick that guy's ass, he promised himself mentally, the thought punctuated by the action of a quick punch through the air. If I find out who it is, he's gonna be sorry.

It wasn't in Lindsey's nature to be so moody, to be so upset about the happenings in their everyday lives, but... he couldn't help himself. Nothing about the situation warranted anything less than anger. That fuel kept him moving on the obstacle course grounds, going through a series of martial arts techniques to try and keep himself focused, to hone and tame his emotions. There was a lit cigarette between his lips and a horde of butts on the ground around him, his lighter sat on a wooden beam nearby to keep it safe. He tended to get swept up when he practiced by himself, and destroying his lighters was somewhat of a habit.
