[In a Neighborhood basement,
Corinthian is thwarted. He's a creature born of dream and nightmare, but the divine nature of his defeat softens the effect he would've otherwise left in his wake. Like ripples after an explosion, a wave passes over Repose. Until it dissipates, and it seems likely to linger, memories dance in the Spring air, waiting for unsuspecting residents to experience them. The memories pass through bedrooms and at workplaces, through parks and at dinner, through the woods and on Main Street. Nowhere is exempt and no one is immune. The memories are different depending upon the memory's owner, and memories are not always as they appear, but one thing is consistent: When a memory comes, everything else ceases for the recipient. They must experience the memory in its entirety before life commences again.]
