On the night after Eddie's return, the carnival puts on an elegant and extravagant funeral. The carnival king himself emerges from the coffin and dazzles the crowd with a ghost themed haunting of a show. The carnival turns into Halloweentown for the rest of the week and is filled with spooky delights.]

[Late Tuesday, the Science Facility at Area-52 erupts into chaos. After being silent for weeks, military ambulances and vehicles swarm the building. The severely injured and deceased are carted out and taken to military hospitals, and those who are ambulatory are treated in a temporary field hospital set up and secure on the base's grounds.

The official statement, which is issued immediately, explains that a Tethys executive named Dane Blake caused the terrible events within the Tethys unit of the facility. Investigations, which have been ongoing during the incident, have found no responsibility with Tethys itself, and there will be no charges against the major corporation. Blake, who is currently missing and presumed dead, had apparently been planning this for some time, and all the compromising paperwork and files were found locked in his private office in the Capital.

The Tethys level will remain closed for clean-up, but is scheduled to open again within the week, according to the newly acting CEO, who shares his deep apologies and sympathies for all affected by this disaster. Residents are urged not to worry, and promise that all medical treatments, funeral expenses, and lost pay will be covered by Tethys.]
