This is Not the Wonderland you remember.

The time of the War is over. The Queen of Hearts won the battle between the Chessboard Kingdom and Card Kingdom, taking back her rule. Any affiliated with the Chessboard was imprisoned or beheaded, while all known Chess pieces that did not die in the war were slaughtered. People kicked from their homeland to wander the various woods without a penny to their name.

It has been a century since the war and a small Rebellion lead by the mysterious Caterpillar has made their presence known.

This is Not the Wonderland you remember.

The Wonderland Wars

Those who believe that there is an underlying logic which rules the universe have two things going for them: one, that they know very little and two, that they have never been to Wonderland. For certainly, Wonderland refuses to succumb to the quaint notion that universes are ruled by pure logic and harmony of numbers.

Which means that when The White Queen struck the peg before The Queen of Hearts in their bi-weekly croquet tournament, not a soul in Wonderland felt slighted over the immediate declaration of war. Instead, they picked up their pitchforks and tea cups and marched off to battle, some more successfully than others.

Though it has been over a decade since a human last fell upon Wonderland, the children's story has maintained its connections to London: the Rabbit Hole, the Looking Glass and several unaccounted for gates are still functioning. However, this time it is the outcasts of war who seek refuge in the real world.

So which side will you support? The Queen of Hearts who might as soon banish you to reality as she would praise you? Or the seemingly innocent White Queen, more fond of her treacle tart than whether or not you have bread and butter?

Or perhaps, you're just an innocent bystander. If, logically, there exists such a thing.

[info]wonderland_wars is a War Era, Non-Canon Compliant, Alice in Wonderland Role-Playing Game.

This game opens March 5th, 2010.

Can you survive Wonderland?

Game soon to open!! Just need about ten players to kick us off!



The Plot

Eight kings threatened to save ninety-five queens for one sick knave.


Since Hatter's leave from Wonderland and no one to take the 'hat when it's passed.' Wonderland has fallen even deeper into darkness than it was before. A balanced scale shall not be tipped and this was exactly what happened, allowing even more of a dark and sinister creature to emerge from the depths of Wonderland.

Euchre (Pronounced Juker) finally broke free from the dungeons beneath the Fortress of Spades, the true warriors of the Royal Suits, after being imprisoned for acts of piracy and death along with his twin, Deuce, once forcing all who once opposed each other to stand together and fight behind the suit of Spades to conquer.

Once each half was separated, the suits created a balance, not only were they in four corners of Wonderland, but each took their most trusted and gave them jobs to help level everything in between their kingdoms. But now with Oysters once more filling up Wonderland, the Fortress of Spades laying dormant due to Euchre's dark powers and a missing piece of the Wonderland puzzle, how will Wonderland defeat their foe before the twin is reached and once more become an impenetrable force?

Will the Hatter return to his home to defend it with Alice standing at his side or will he leave it behind him as nothing more than a forgotten world of a child's story?
