Rules, FAQ, and Crumpets!
DAS RULES!
*1. We don’t expect you to recite random passages form the book, but it would help if you have some kind of knowledge of Alice In Wonderland. We’ll even accept if all you know is the Disney movie, I’m not judging you, but a basic knowledge of what Wonderland is and of the characters would help a deal. Wikipedia knows about everything, use it!
*2. Personally I’d like for players to at least be 18 due to probable content, but it’s not written in stone. Seriously, acting like an adult would be greatly appreciated.
*3. We don’t take kindly to idiocy. Drama is welcomed, but there’s a line between enjoyable drama and hot tranny mess drama. Start a ruckus and we’ll be forced to take action.
*4. Tag your entries or we will put you in a corner.
*5. No god modding. End of story. You don’t see me pulling your puppet strings, don’t do it to others. It’s tacky and rude.
*6. Character limit will be set at 3 for the time being. There will be a month waiting period between characters. Meaning you can’t make a second one 3 days after you make your first one. If we see people can handle more, we’ll allow more, if they can’t then we take away, that simple.
*7. For the love of tea biscuits, BE ACTIVE! We don’t expect just one person to flood the community or anything, but we’d like to see you TRY and play outside your circles and for more than once a month. We want all round activity and lots of it! As of right now there are no requirements, but we’ll enforce one if we have to!
*8. Third person past tense format is mandatory for threads. It makes our eyes not go cross. Obvs, journal entries can be written in first person, unless your character is the kind of person who refers to themselves in the third person, in which case… continue as scheduled.
*9. We strongly enforce quality over quantity. This means don't stress over how long your threads are. Do not bore us with 5 paragraphs giving the detailed description of the grass. We will chop off your head. As before, there’s a line, let’s not cross it turn around and blow it up.
*10. Do NOT leave a person or a thread hanging. We all know how crappy it is to have a thread whither and die due to someone forgetting to close or continue. If it looks like you can’t finish, let the other person know and slap an end together like Heroes did before the strike.
LE FAQ!
Can I play an original character?
● Yes you can! Where we’d prefer you take up an existing character from the books, we also need people that live in London and have to encounter these fictional characters so… We’ll allow it!
How many characters can I play?
● For now the limit is three. If we see everyone has their big boy/girl pants on, then you’ll get more. Ya gotta wait a month after one is made to make another.
Do I have to make personal journal entries for my character?
● Not as of yet, no. It’d be funny as hell if you did though! However, if we start seeing activity slide slowly down the toilet, we’ll make it mandatory.
Does my character have to be named like they are in the books?
● How can we put this… Kind of the way someone would be called the Duke of Norfolk, but his name is Peter, that’s what we’re going for. The book names can be titles or nicknames (Whichever you prefer), which will allow you to name your character whatever you want. Unless you want to name them the book name in which case have at! For example, the Mad Hatter's name happens to be Cedric. Would he answer to Hatter and/or Cedric? Yes. Would he answer to Cedric Hatter? Probably not because that isn't his name.
