A hundred and eighty years ago, all that once was, was lost. Only a sliver of humanity and the others that inhabited our world managed to survive. Sickness came as swiftly as the bullets and bombs that started the quick downfall, wiping out whole communities, cities, sometimes even small nations.

History went dark. No one is truly sure as to who started it or why and truth be told it doesn't matter anymore. What matters is restoring what we had lost. Most people these days have settled down. Their ancestors took over old cities, remote villages, rebuilt what was lost in the war the best they could with what little they had. There are those who don't even settle down because generations were brought up wandering and raiding, and it no longer feels right to stay rooted to one spot to them. This meager way of living isn't enough; just surviving isn't enough but there are those who think bringing back all the technology and knowledge we lost will only lead to the true end and they are violent in trying to prevent it from happening. They have burned libraries, whole towns and parts of cities to the ground for the sake of ignorance.

You could say we're not quite there yet. Civilization is a dream not entirely realised, and what little tech we have feels stone aged compared to the stories we were told of what was.

Things are changing, slowly, yet it's still a harsh world to live in and death lingers at every corner in the guise of so many things that had once been fixed.

All Inclusive


Open a door. Any door, anywhere, leading anyplace. If you're most people, what's on the other side will be predictable, make sense. But if you're lucky, you may find yourself stepping into someplace else entirely.

All Inclusive is a prose-based, pan-fandom roleplaying game with a very fickle hotel at its nexus. Through a network of many and changing doors, characters find themselves able to hop easily between their home universe, the Nexus Hotel, and endless fictional universes — That is, if the hotel allows it.

We're a friendly group of adults who love collaborative writing, and we're always looking for more players to join in the fun. See the links below for more information on the game and how to apply.

Empire City - A Multi-fandom Community



Empire City is a multi-fandom game on Dreamwidth that is open to canon and AU characters in a plot-driven environment that offers ample freedom for character development and individual plots.

The setting of the game is fluid, offering various different locations every few months, but all with the distinct tie of being in some form of New York City - be it on other planets, in another dimension, or simply in the future or the past. Along with the malleable setting, Empire City offers open sandbox game play as well as game-wide plots of the mystery, horror, adventure, fantasy, and humour/crack variety.

A deck of cards is built like the purest of hierarchies...

In a place secluded from the world by ancient, forgotten magic is a society like none other. The rank and file of day to day life is filled with the wonder of an age long past, but peppered by the influence of the modern world; where intrigue is taught from a young age and lies are served with tea.

It is a society built on old traditions and esoteric rules. Here Kings and Queens still reign over their Suits and everyone has an agenda. Where Spades look over their shoulders, Hearts play coy, Diamonds glimmer like ice, and Clubs worry that the death of one king is but the beginning. This is The Deck.

If nothing felt particularly resolved when the last Chitauri warrior fell still after the battle for New York, one thing was clear. The world had changed. Super-powered individuals were no longer the remnants of half-believed legend, written off as freak accidents, or simply the pet project of self-impressed billionaires. They became real--a valid topic for political and social debate. For every whole-hearted supporter donning a 'Tony Stark' haircut, there was at least one person who felt it was simply the next phase of vigilante justice (and that it should be terribly illegal). The visibility of the Avengers spurred the growth of more costumed super people--villains and heroes and the more morally muddy all amongst their ranks. If anything was clear, it was that the world had just become more complicated--and out of the shadows would come forces intent on ensuring that not every victory would feel so decisive.

Gravity: Chapter 1 is a Marvel role play group psl set in the Cinematic Universe, canon through the end of The Avengers. The game has a lifespan of between six to nine months with a plan in place for continuation. Our hope is to provide an active and interactive community for Marvel muses that will make the community as dynamic as Marvel films and comics.

Tutis Tempus RPG - Post DH HP RPG

A world of second chances in paradise.


October, 2001. Global nuclear winter. An accident with the Dark Veil and a Time Turner. A portal to New Zealand five million years in the past on an alternate time line. Muggles and Magicals work together to set up settlements on the island.

December, 2001. The Dark Veil is making copies of people from other points in time, as far back as 331 BC, and spitting them out five million years in the alternate universe past.

Most Wanted: Hermione Granger, Bill Weasley, Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Angelina Johnson, Seamus Finnigan, Ron Weasley and many more!

set in a Terra Nova-style world.

Marshalsea - Where Ghosts & Humans Colide - on Dreamwidth





Marshalsea is a unique experience to play completely original characters with no canon. We will have ghosts that have been haunting the place from around 1800 to the late 1960's and maybe beyond. We have the kind of humans that think it is keen to kip in an old abandoned insane asylum. It is an open minded game where everything goes. Some ghosts are benevolent and some are malevolent. There will be deaths, and there will be suicides ans sides change. As time goes on, that which separates the live from the dead in this place will grow thin and all will interact freely - driving all a bit mad.

Marshalsea - Where Ghosts & Humans Colide - on Dreamwidth

Marshalsea takes place in an abandoned insane asylum inhabited by ghosts (mostly from 1802 - mid 1960's) that met untimely ends for various reasons. Some are malevolent and some are benevolent. They closed the asylum in 2002, but the kind of human that finds it keen to set up a home away from home in an abandoned insane asylum has led to a growing population of humans as well. Some of the ghosts are willing to kill to get them out, some would do anything to protect them. The veil is growing thinner the longer these two populations stay together... leading to - spoilers darling.
