In 1962 the band of mutants who rose up to oppose Shaw never stopped the Americans and Soviets bombing each other. Erik and the others were too late in arriving and consequently World War III was unleashed upon the world and the reveal of the mutants soon followed. Sebastian Shaw's dream, the rise of the children of the atom, was now a reality. Erik and Charles formed the X men together and are an underground resistance, working to salvage the world from Shaw and his army. Atom is set in 1964, in a post apocalypse setting following real time. The game is canon compliant up until the point where the X Men stopped the Soviets from crossing into Cuba's waters and has other Marvel themes in play. |

gifteds is an X-men movie-verse game set primarily at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters, revolving around the lives of the students and staff of the school. This is a movie-verse inspired game, post-X2, with heavy influence from the comics in order to flesh out the world and provide more plot opportunities. Original character friendly, gifteds is a journal and thread-based old-school game that utilises only two sub-comms: one for threading and one for out-of-character discussion. Opens at 10 applications.

Through pulling all his resources Wolverine has built the ultimate trifecta of power between the Jean Grey School of Higher Learning, Stark Tower, and the Baxter Building to create a safe zone within New York for mutants and super-powered humans alike. While the world around them boils over with ignorance, hate, and blind rage the community of mutants and super-humans in this area continues to thrive. But all good things must come to an end; someone will have to pay for their peace eventually. With the Mutant Response Division in act once more, talk of a new sentinel project on the rise, and Predator X slipping through everyone’s grasp it’s only a matter of time before everything goes to hell. higherlearning is a player-proactive Marvel next-gen game based off of canon events but set in its own alternate universe. Players are given the option to help mold month by month events via the game calendar (already set up for all of July) and encouraged to plot personal lines for character development along with interacting in monthly game wide events. If you’d like a chance to play in a plot based writing community where you’re encouraged to be active in all aspects of game growth then this might be the game for you! | |
