My eldest has learned the not so subtle art of negotiating. we have resisted the idea of getting a dog, so now set his sights on a dragon, despite the fact that it has been explained that we cannot own a dragon. I think that fact has sunk in because now he's focused on Aethonans.

My middle child has taught my youngest the word bum, far sooner than I would have cared for.

If I haven't said it enough already then thank you again for helping me out with picking Monty. And if my enthusiasm upon seeing so many adorable and cute animals was worrying - there's no need. My declaration of wanting to take them all home was definitely not serious, and I'm pretty sure I'll be plenty happy with Monty - and Toby... anyway, you won't have to worry about coming over only to find I've turned my home into a menagerie.

So next week is Valentine's, and... well, I'm not expecting any grand gestures or anything like that since I don't even normally celebrate it - except the day after when the chocolate goes on sale - but I was wondering if you maybe wanted to do something quiet or whatever?

So... Montrose's adoption drive got another convert earlier today! Though in my defence, if I needed one, it's something I've been thinking about on and off for a while. Besides... isn't Monty just the cutest little thing?

I have to say I’m really pleased with how all of you handled that Endurance Challenge, real troopers there. Now the majority of matches you play will feel short when compared to that.

Onto Chudley! I know you might still be feeling a little worn out in some ways from that endurance test but no worries, it’s Chudley. What I want out of this match is to get some of you starters a good rest, and reserves some flying time and more experience. And, naturally, to win.

But for Chudley we’ll do something different. I have a challenge for each position that against most teams would be quite difficult but against Chudley you have a chance. If any of these challenges are achieved...I’ll give the whole team a prize. A day off, I don’t know. We’ll figure it out.
