[Montrose]
I've already said it but excellent playing against the Bats last match, team. I liked that 120 point differential, and you're widening it with each match. Great job.

As you know, The Fall Classic looms large right now and this is a vital match for us. I know a few of you know some of the Portree players well, or have played with them in the past but I'm not worried you'll go easy on them.

It's a vital match so I want to open the floor to all of you. Those of you who have played with or against some of them in the past, I'd love to hear your impression or analysis of them and their playing style. Buchanan in particular since he hasn't been in this league for some years now and he's become their main chaser. But I want to hear about any and all of them.

On a slightly lighter note, I think we all deserve a bit of a relaxing fun time together. With that in mind I'll be organizing a listening party next Wednesday. We'll have a shorter practice and go to the team rec rooms. The difference this time will be that these will be match recordings I've selected rather than live ones. I have two matches already selected so will look forward to seeing you there!

If you have any questions/concerns feel free to bring them to me as always.

Merc's Unorganized To Do List (Click)
- Organize that listening party
- Add player feedback on Portree to notes
- Go over Portree match recordings for this season again
- Attend Harpies/Falcons (maybe bring one of the girls, they'd enjoy it)
- Attend Catapults/Kestrels
- Draw up potential chaser combinations and run them in practice
- Follow up on beater status with Florrie
- Intense beater vs. chaser drills needed, especially if our starter is out for the next match
- Take the littles to Miracle's birthday party
- SEEKER DAY
- Follow up with Gregor
- Decide on final chaser lineup (and beaters)
- Pass off all those owls asking for interviews to PR
- Actually give a few of those interviews
- Think I need to do something about that bet with Elsie here, will return to
- Weekly tea/meeting with Shona, got a lot on the list
- Family dinner at mum's, double check date
- find those pages you marked on that book on chaser strategy

- Maybe organize this list

[Warded to Macmillan/Yaxley/Macgonagall/etc. cousins and former Hogwarts teammates and oponents and Percy]

Friends,

I am considering introducing a motion based on my utter unhappiness with the unsuitability of Hogwarts style scoring for professional quidditch.

I was thinking of writing to the Prophet, but I may try to put out a press release and get interviewed about it. That's not really my specialty, but I do feel strongly about it.

So, what do you think? What did I miss? Will the Quidditching public stand for it?
