Humour me for a moment. Assuming there is a point to the Cannons (which is certainly up for debate), precisely what would that point be? Because currently it seems like the point is to shamelessly and without remorse waste nearly three hours of my life. Was there perhaps a heist going on that they were just trying to distract us from? Has anything gone missing at Gringotts?

Maybe this was simply a mass hallucination. It's certainly much easier to believe that than that I just witnessed a full-length Quidditch match where only five goals were scored in total. Normally I'd congratulate the keepers on a job well done for keeping it that low, but I'm fairly certain Wendy Sloo was asleep part of that time. And yet she still did a better job than Horton, you'll note.
