Welcome to a new season! One that I intend for us to finish on top.

Since it's our bye week, I figured we could do our season opening meet greet bbq this weekend. For those of you who have forgotten or are new, while there will be traditional and local fare (and you are certainly free to bring your own dishes), there will be a very distinct Brazilian theme to the food and pool area. You can thank Gabi for that (who I've warded into this in case you have any questions).

Very importantly: We've got a new medic on board to hassle you about help you with all things health related.

Florrie Florinda McGonagall. Mediwitch extraordinaire. (Yes that is the right last name)

She's been a mediwitch for merlin knows how long now, was the deputy head of the Mediward group at Mungo's and was instrumental in re-establishing the Quidditch mediwizardry program when the BIL restarted last year. Not to mention a diehard Magpies fan since before she could walk. And she already knows how to stomach the coach. So find a time to say hello early on and officially welcome her.

How was the match?

Still getting sorted in the house after training's finished. Went to unpack a few boxes during that match, lost track of time for a bit and came back to the kitchen to find out the Harpies had piled on half their goal total. Sounds like it wasn't one to be too concerned about missing, mind...
