[Naoya's wandering around in the graveyard before class, dressed in a costume (without the toy gun and cigar). He looks mildly amused, at least.]

It's that time of year, according to this place's time? Interesting.

[He stops and sits down amongst the graves, looking rather comfortable.]

Here's a question, my fellow inmates. What does 'death' mean to you? Aside from the purely biological definition.

[Heh. A fitting question, at least in his mind, for this time of year. Happy birthday, indeed.]

[It was mid-morning when Winry woke up to find herself at a desk in the computer lab. Last night, she stayed up rather late trying to do some additional learning on top of her classwork and ended up dozing off for the rest of the night. Having turned the volume down on her communicator to focus, she's slept through the morning announcement as well as the good bit of morning excitement. But then she, like a few others, doesn't exactly see anything different today.

It's just as well, since she figured out plans for today, to find a place to live in outside of the shelter. Her room has started to feel cramped and hardly large enough to do her business in, much less accommodate somewhat larger potential customers. A good, small house or maybe even apartment would do well, it'd just be a matter of finding a nice one in a good location. A little help wouldn't hurt at all, either.

After stopping by the convenience store for a quick breakfast, she turns the volume back up on her communicator to make her "calls". She's pretty cheerful as she starts to broadcast.]

Hey Ed? Al? Are you two up yet? I was wondering if you two could help me out a bit today.

Whoever mentioned monster attacks to me? You weren't kidding. Raptors... it's like something out of a bad movie.

Does anyone need a hand?

[If you come into the club you might find a Kitty sitting up on the bar with a Tyki leaning against it. Some drinking has occurred. Some touching may be occurring. Calm down or don't. You've seen worse on TV. Well, if you're from a world or time with TV.]

[She did not stay too long at the party ; and the night's display was something she cannot resist -- it was a fascinating view of Earth, such as that she took a lot longer than necessary to make it back to the Shelter, looking upwards at the display...

And then there was a sudden movement -- about the rooftops. She stopped in her tracks, alert and on guard...]
The 84th Day
11 October 2010 at 11:10 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 84th day of the third generation.

There is an issue that I would hear all of your opinions on, one regarding some inmate reactions to the blackout that occurred the night before last. It is imperative that you all understand that such events will naturally happen, so long as inmates have the free reign that they do. The only fail-safe method to ensure that nothing goes wrong is to reduce or remove that freedom.

So then, inmates of Marina Asylum, should the trust and freedom given to you be limited in exchange for a more smoothly operated system and facility? Or are some of you content to endure through some inconveniences, and retain the leniency you have now?

Inmates Fai D. Flourite and Toothless, your requests can be found at the entrance to Sector 0. Inmate Kefka Palazzo, your request will delivered by a remote unit.

I pinched myself three times, but I’m still not waking up. It’s really very strange. [ small considering pause ]

On TV, there’s always a big emphasis on how intimidating a prison is. It’s supposed to be a place that no one wants to go after all. But this one is...different. It’s very beautiful -– as if it belongs to the top ten best places to visit. [ smile. a perfect n_n face. ] If I didn’t know any better I’d think that I won a prize!
The 82nd Day
27 September 2010 at 09:36 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 82nd day of the third generation.

The ventilation system reports that all traces of the chemical released yesterday have been dispersed, and there are no adverse effects expected. Any concerned for their condition may proceed to the hospital.

The koi pond in the park is finished, and as with the butterflies in the Pavilion, catching or harming the fish in any way will not be tolerated.

...And I would remind all inmates: alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the facility, save on club premises. There are no exceptions.

Yo! I could use a little bit of help here. Got myself a pet project. [grin] Don't suppose any of you fellas know a thing or two about growing plants would ya? I have a few in mind I'd need in greater quantity then I can get at the store.

[mulls] Come to think of it, I might need a few barrels too to get me started...

In which Zelda is Sheik but wait not really... )

[Sheik, or rather, Zelda makes her way back across the street to the shelter, but changes her plan at the last moment, turning instead to head towards the athletic complex. It seems like a place where one might find Sheik normally, so she wouldn't attract as much attention there. If only she can get there without being noticed.]

((OOC: Details. Feel free to encounter sheik!Zelda anywhere between Sectors 0, 5, 6 because she fails at being stealthy, though not actually in the shelter. She should be around there all day.))

[It's almost time to go to bed for Ciel...but he's absolutely not tired. So he's just sitting in a chair in his room fiddling with his communicator. He finally just turns it over to Voice and puts it up to his mouth.]

[Normally, Ciel would prefer if no one talked to him. But today it seems like that's all he wants. He feels pretty alone lately. He just wants proof that other people exist and that he's not completely alone in the world.

Maybe that's a childish desire...but Ciel, as usual, doesn't care.]

I'm bored. Talk.

[No, he doesn't realize how rude he sounds as he orders the entire dome to talk to him.]

[Blood. It covered all his clothes, all his body. But it didn’t really matter to him… He had to tell Rin, he had to inform her that he had done it. Yet, he couldn’t move. Len was scared; he couldn’t believe he had done it. The memory was still too fresh, the knife going deep inside Miku’s body, that smile on her face…

He quickly pushes those thoughts away. Len was a servant, he had to obey, and above all it was his sister’s orders, how could he disobey? It was a small price to pay in exange to be with her. It didn’t matter that he had killed the person he loved, no, he had to convince himself of that.

It was alright, as long as it was for Rin…

And now he found himself in a strange place, with a strange divice in his head that told him that he was in prison, and a basket with some very useful information. It helped, but he still felt strange and a little freaked out by this new situation, so he starts touching the bottoms in the communicator, accidentaly turning on the video feed. It clearly show his blank face, with some blood on it.]

I must speak with Princess Rin... If I could just figure this out, maybe I could...

((ooc: I know I said he would be keeping his memories from the 4th Wall, but after all, he won't, so sorry about that! And with less fail this time! LOL))

[Ling magically appeared in the shelter kitchen, popping up out of nowhere because doors are things he does not use! Not when a dumbwaiter or a window or even just an air duct will do.]

[And he was hungry. Not, starving, he'll die hungry because he spent the majority of the night gouging on pizza, but rather hungry, hungry. Distinctly not full hungry. So he'll gather up everything in sight and plop it on a table. Crackers, coffee, oatmeal, bananas, chicken, pasta, cabbage, rice, everything. He wasn't picky! He liked it all. He just wanted to enjoy himself to the fullest while he could.]

[Although he did miss Ran Fan. Wondered how she was. Did she have her arm back yet? Was she searching for him? And most distinctly, was she eating enough? She almost had an appetite to rival his own. Ah~ so much good food! Munch, munch, mumble, slurp, swallow, gulp...]

[Hello, Marina! Allen was tired and distracted and sad last night, and he vacated the hospital and accidentally left Tim behind. Timcanpy doesn't want to stay in a hospital without Allen! Lavi is okay but he's gone too, and that just leaves Jun and Kanda, and Tim doesn't even like them! So here's a little gold golem fluttering through the dome at about waist-height. He keeps pausing, looking around, seeming confused.

[Have you seen his boy?]

[The feed clicks on to show a battered but mostly intact Ling somewhat smiling into the camera behind the backdrop to the shelter common room, moved there so the clean-up in Sector 5 could progress.]

Don't suppose anyone saw a young man about yea high with blond hair and blue eyes running around late last night did ya? I just want to make sure he was alright after that creature attacked us...

[All he wanted to know was if Len was still around when the computer sent everyone back home. Wasn't much to ask was it? Not knowing was going to make his food taste sour and there was no telling how long Greed was gonna take to recover after taking so many hits last night. That'd be the worst. [ Late into the evening in Sector five, a white skinned humanoid creature stands paused to inspect the storefronts and buildings. It resembles a child-like, deformed angel with its wings and glimmering disc of light above its head. But it bears a set of familiar pentacles on its stomach and forehead, and blank red eyes.

Now this isn't the Black Order HQ...

Oh, but
somebody must be around.

And so it starts walking, cocking its head to the side with curiosity. Its communicator is crushed and dropped to the ground, laying strewn in pieces. All these building, all these buildings, there must of course be humans.

A high pitched giggle, ]
Come out, come out, where~ever you are.

((OOC: Event-style post for the Akuma attack. Anyone on the scene (before or after Exorcists arrive) will be attacked. Anything hit by the Akuma's attacks is subject to poisoning, which although reduced in toxicity, is still a very bad thing. [ Stages include first becoming covered in five-pointed black stars and then kind of crumbling into dust once the stars merge and your skin turns black. :D And then the gas of that itself is toxic! ]

Also, Akuma will likely scream at some point during the log, which basically is so loud and invasive that it throws off synchronization/ balance/ threatens to burst heads. If it happens it'll probably reach the farther sides of the dome. So you might get a wake-up call later on that you didn't expect...

And so here goes giant fight-thread. 8E ))

[This voice will sound very familiar to a significant proportion of the dome. Echoes of a far-distant past. But there's something... off.]

So, the cowardly government led by President Henderson has sunk to a new low. Have they now resorted to incarceration of all those that dare oppose their violations of the rights of their people? For this, there will be no escape for those that abuse the rights of mutants! Take heed, all those that hear this message. Zero is here to bring justice to oppressors and freedom to the oppressed!

[This is a Lelouch from XI, where he is fighting for mutant rights instead of the Japanese. He can be found... somewhere in Sector 4, in full costume.]]
