Hello? Is anyone out there?

The time for pain is over.

Alright, that's not strictly true, I don't think this pain will ever truly leave, but it's time to stop it being so all consuming. My husband is gone, and the odds of him ever coming back to me are minimal. And even if he were to be brought back, it's even less likely that he'd remember me. But I have a baby to look after. My focus needs to be her.

Well. This was unexpected. And it's unusual for me to be surprised by things like this. Is this another Zenner experiment?

Interesting morning. I was almost almost getting used to not having monsters trying to kill me constantly. Knew it was too good to last. Actually, it was getting a bit boring. A Δεκάρα Chimera came out of the woods near New York this morning and tried to make me part of a well-balanced breakfast. At least I haven't gotten entirely rusty.

On the up side, I went scouting the woods afterwards to make sure they were clear, and I found my cabin from camp. No one was in it, of course, but the library is still there. And the workshop.
