Hey guys! Patricia here with yet another character. Everybody, meet Evan's baby brother, Ethan Vaisey.

At a first glance, you can tell Ethan is Evan's brother - but spend a few moments talking to him, and you'll see they're nothing alike (or at least that's how Ethan sees it, as we know Evan has been changing his ways). He's shy, sensitive, intelligent and gentlemanly, and is completely judgmental of Evan and his (old) pervy ways. You can blame it partially on their cousin Ella, who decided to use ickle Ethan as her sympathetic ear and told him more than he ever wanted to know about his close relations, though he'd been "rebelling" long before that.

He's turned 20 very recently, and is working as a trainee Healer at St Mungo's, turning what makes him an oddball Vaisey into a career. Also, he's been dating Leah's sister Rachel (who also joins the game) since they were second years(!), and the relationship keeps going strong and stable. You can collect your dropped jaws now.

Hey! So I've got Leah's little sister here, Rachel. Rachel is Hufflepuff class of '04, and as she was a July baby I think she's the youngest character here now. Rachel is a little contradiction - she's a sweetheart with a dark streak. (Hey, black is a Hufflepuff colour too, you know.) She's quiet and introverted and due to her age won't know a lot of people so... you may not even notice she's here :-P You can read more about her here. Rachel is in a long-term relationship with Evan's little brother Ethan, and when I say long-term - they've been together since she was 12, which some people find a little creepy. She works in a factory putting charms on toys, which isn't her long-term career plan but means she doesn't have to depend on anyone for money, which is important to her.

Hey, this is Rolf!

Rolf Scamander is the grandchild of Newt Scamander (fantastic beasts and where to find them), and carried on family tradition by becoming a magizoologist. His father fled Britain during the first war, because he was being pressured to join the DE. While abroad he fell in love with Kasja and started a family in Sweden. He eventually went to Durmstrang, but made the very conscious decision NOT to be a delegate for the Triwizard Tournament.

He can come off as very antisocial, but in reality he's just very nervous. He's excited to get a journal because he knows he comes off more confident on paper, but his IRL social life is almost non-existent. It's very easy for him to get worked up into an anxiety attack, so he needs a gentle touch.

He vaguely knows Luna and Victoria by way of teaching seminars they've attended, and I imagine he's friendly with other Durmstrang students. Particularly Yakov, because Rolf enjoys the company of easy-going people.

So that's what's going on!

Hey everybody! Patricia here with yet another character. Her bio is still incomplete and I still need to tag her icons but with this being a PSL (and therefore more free, app-wise) and with all I needed to do, mod-wise, I felt it was time. World, meet Sohvi Järvinen!

In case her name is not a giveaway, Sohvi is Finnish. She studied at Durmstrang and, having started there in 1995, she missed the whole Karkaroff era and ended up having a warmer and more pleasant experience out of her education than those who were part of the Triwizard delegation - under Karkaroff's replacement, fireplaces were allowed to provide comfort to teachers and students, for instance, and the Dark Arts class was replaced with the learning of defence. That's not to say that Sohvi's upbringing was a liberal one, though, as she hails from an old, pureblood and purist family and from a very young age was taught that she had to fulfil the Duties of a Lady. When she was told that her parents had just found her the Perfect Husband, she told them to go to hell, packed her bags, dyed her hair and moved to Britain. She's now working as an intern at the ICW, with Maks as her mentor (thanks to the help of Professor Grunokken, the Durmstrang History of Magic professor Karkaroff's replacement), and is living in a small bedsit in Diagon Alley and loving it. And she doesn't know it yet, but she's soon to meet a certain young fellow she's going to find very interesting...

So, that's Sohvi in a nutshell. She doesn't know many people yet apart from Maks (and maybe Taryn through him?), but she's very friendly and will talk to anyone. Thoughts?

Hello new friends! (Old friends, too?) I am Squeaky, and reading the contact page, I don't think I recognize any names. I am 31 and I live in Boise, Idaho. I am a professional dial tone. At least that's what the boss calls us. What I do is I do one-way transcription of phone calls for the hard-of-hearing, they talk on the phone to a friend, I supply closed captioning of what the friend says. It's pretty neat work most of the time. I am a hobbyist photographer and a World of Warcraft/Star Wars: The Old Republic addict. I will talk forever about my cats, so you've been warned (Salem is 12 and he's diabetic and grumpy, Binx is four and she's a spaz that I've had since she was a tiny baby, and they're both black and I love them.)

So! Taryn Howard is a school librarian in Hogsmeade, she's sort of quiet and keeps to herself, but she's got opinions about things. She was a seventh year Hufflepuff when the Twiwizard Tournament came to town, and as Heather already said, met the man of her dreams in History of Magic class (even though at the time she wanted to hit him with a book.) Speaking of books, they're her favorite thing in the world, she always has one on her person, and spends all her free time absorbed in them. She's Muggleborn, and, again as Heather said, spent the second war in Russia, hiding from the Muggleborn Registration thingie.

Um. I think that's everything about her for now. She needs friends and things, so throw them at me!

Me again! Heather here! This is Maks and I will try and keep this short. That'll never work. XD

He's a Durmstrang man, who came over for the Triwizard. He used to play Quidditch with Viktor and Anzelm on their school team. He's Russian and goes by Maks, never Ivan. His family is old money and actually comes from the Russian aristocracy. Remember how the Malfoys tried to keep in with the Muggle royalty? That's a game the Volkovs played and won. Or they did, until the downfall of the Tsar when his great great grandfather was brutally murdered in front of his entire family. So, no hang ups there, then.

The Triwizard was a fun time for him because it set him up for his future career. He is now an interpreter and translator for the ICW, British seats, as he speaks five languages - Russian, English, Norwegian, Finnish and Swedish. Being something of a Scandinavia specialist, he's picking up Danish in his spare time because he's totally normal, you guys!

He and Taryn have been engaged for two years and they plan to marry in April 2006 at his family's estate in Russia. Right now, they have a place in the Cotswolds while they commute in opposite directions. They attended the Yule Ball together and dated ever since. When the war broke out, she went to stay with his family in Russia to keep her safe from Umbridge and her machinations - My head canon is that either Viktor (via Fleur) or Fleur herself tipped them off.

Any way, PLOT WITH ME IM EXCITED.

HEY Y'ALL. Max here with a brand new pufflehuff.

Gertie Goyle is nineteen years old and graduated Hogwarts class of 2003. That means that she overlapped with those in the trio's year during their seventh year of Hogwarts when Voldie was in power, as well as their optional second seventh year. Anyone younger than the trio would have had more opportunity to interact with her, and anyone older than the trio would be unlikely to know her at all unless they had some other connection. She was dorm-mates with Leah's little sister.

Her dad died in the battle of hogwarts and her brother Greg went to prison, so it was just her and mum for a while. But then mum lost her marbles, so she spent some (yet undetermined) years living under the care of the social worker Cecil Frobisher. She didn't really interact with Vic because there was such an age gap, but she became close friends with another foster sister and fellow Death Eater kid, NPC foster-sister Josie.

That's enough history I think. Nowdays Gertie is a Witch Weekly intern who'd really rather work at the Prophet like her dad. But not like her dad because he's a terrorist. She's extremely clever and sarcastic, but she's also kind of immature. She's very inexperienced in the ways of the world, and definitely hasn't figured out how to be a grown-up yet. She lives with Greg and relies on him for almost everything. In return she (very secretly) pads their budget with money she makes writing erotica for a very seedy women's magazine called Glamour de l'Amour. The sex scenes are decent, but she's definitely not writing from experience.

So... that's baby Goyle. I don't know if she'll really be able to get much interaction but I'm really excited about her. Any possible connections?

So... I never introduced Myron, and then I basically had a month off from everything whilst my sister-in-law and nephew were here. Well, I'm back! And I bring an egocentric musician with me.

Myron is a big, obnoxious, loud, and kind of self-centred guy. He's also very talented and works his ass off - at things that matter, like music. He's a bit of a hedonist and is well known for both his sexual exploits and his ~experimentation. He does love and respect his family, but he has a funny way of showing it sometimes. He's also a total book nerd, which surprises people sometimes. He has an insatiable curiosity about the world around him, which feeds into his hedonism and general exuberance, and is also what put him in Ravenclaw.

Myron was Ravenclaw class of '88 - which makes him 7 years older than anyone else in play. He therefore has NO crossover with anyone at school, but he's confident you'll know who he is anyway ;-) There were legends going around about him even after he left, and then there's that whole, you know, biggest band on the planet thing.

Hi duckies! This is Erin, and I bring you Kelleigh Bundy. She's 26, Hufflepuff class of 1997, Muggleborn. She grew up in the system, but her foster parents adopted her when she was 14. Shortly after her class left school, Kelleigh went into hiding because she refused to register. She thought that was shite, and she ran and hid rather than get her family in trouble. She returned once Kingsley became MoM and secured a spot on the Kenmare Kestrel's roster. She's been a starting chaser with them for five years.

Kelleigh is very outgoing, a realist guided by optimism. She's sweet, loyal, feisty, and she doesn't take anyone's shit. She does not suffer idiots (or those she sees as idiots).

She's close with Cormac and spoils his kid(s). She needs other friends, one or two ex-boyfriends from school. All the things!

Hey! Alison here. The bad news is I've dropped Wayne, because I was struggling to find his voice. The good news (or possibly bad news for your characters) is that I am picking up Sally here. You may have played against Sally as Sally Spinks or as Patricia Stimpson, because I've played the same character under different names and with different PBs (Patty was white). Sally is a Slytherin, class of '96, and she is a super perfectionist. She is uptight, bossy, and prone to panic attacks. She stresses herself out about everything, and 'corrects' people constantly. She's a bit of a neat freak too. For all that, she is actually a nice person and very mothering - she's basically the eldest child of distracted hippies who were a liiiiiittle neglectful of their children, so she takes it on herself to be the strict parent for everybody. Sally works as the manager at the Diagon Alley branch of Twilfitt and Tattings, so if you like posh clothes you will likely see her there. Sally's bio is here if you want to learn more (or pick up any of her poor siblings).

Hey everyone! Heather again with this lady, Maartje Viljoen. My friend Beth (some of you may know her) will be joining at some point with her partner (Niall Connolly, aka the Connolly of the Irish International Team) but for now, here's what you need to know about Maartje.

- Born in Botswana because her parents (Afrikaner father, Xhosa mother) attempted to flee South Africa during Apartheid. Her father died on the trip out and her mother died of labour complications. She was brought up by parents who participated in the anti-Apartheid cause.

- She's Muggleborn and attended school back in South Africa at the Cape Town Academy for Witches. No, she isn't related to Larissa. Yes, she is vocal about the prejudices she has faced as a biracial muggleborn. Yes, she managed to get out of the UK during the war (see below).

- She had *just* turned 19 at the time of the QWC in 1994, making her the oldest female char in game iirc. She was travelling after her graduation from school and it was in England that she met Niall. They fell in love and she stayed in Europe to be with him. She worked her way through the ranks at Slug & Jigger's Potioneers ever since - first as a shop girl, then a potions brewer, then as a potions analyst and finally as an inventor.

- It was this skill that, when she and Niall left the country in 1997 (he got an offer from the Quiberon Quafflepunchers, she followed), led her to get the role of second-in-command Potions professor at Beauxbatons. She remained put in her post until this spring, when she became pregnant (she is about to hit 27 weeks) and they decided it was time to return to the UK.

- Currently on maternity leave, she is busy nesting at their new place in Hogsmeade (Niall just got an offer from Montrose). Why Hogsmeade in particular? Well, she has been offered the position of Potions Professor at Hogwarts, starting in September. Yep, old Sluggy is finally retiring for good! She would totally take his job as Head of Slytherin too, if she is allowed, though she accepts this is unlikely.

So I was sitting here going... Why don't we have Ginny or any of the other major chars like her so I figured I'd change that and bring in Ginny. Ginny is married to Harry and is expecting James due at some point soon... I can't be bothered doing maths RN.

So here I was setting up my LjJuggler and realised that I had never introduced Megan. Oops! Anyway, I'm Alex and I know some of you already so great to play with you again and if not great to meet you and I"m looking forward to playing with you all :)

Anyway, I'm bringing in Megan Jones a Hufflepuff from the Trio's year. She's incredibly quiet, likes to go unnoticed and is actually very good at that. She is also incredibly polite and has been told before that she should have lived in the 1800's. She makes her own clothes and works as a seamstress at Madame Malkin's. She sews, sings and plays the piano when she isn't with her friends.

Hey everybody! Patricia here, as promised, with new kid on the block Gregory Goyle! I still need to work on userpic keywords, but with the Ministry plot starting tomorrow I felt it would be good to introduce him as soon as possible.

Anyway, I'm sure you all know Greg. Most of the people who were at Hogwarts during the nineties will only recognize him as the surviving half of that massive entity known as Croyle. However, the truth is that they weren't as interchangeable as most people think. While Vincent Crabbe remained wide, Greg followed the example of Dudley Dursley and lost the chubbiness. While Crabbe was loud and impulsive, Greg was quiet and more pondered (even if he also had occasional hot-headed moments). And, perhaps more important of all, while Crabbe was plain sadistic and loved to hurt people just for the fun of it, Greg had a high yet misguided sense of morality, and would only hurt people when he thought they had done wrong. All his life, he thought his dad and his fellow Death Eaters were the good guys while Dumbledore and Harry Potter were evil, and acted according to that idea. He makes no excuses about this, as he knows now he was wrong, but as long as you don't upset his sister he won't really care what you say about him either. He's just trying to carry on with his life.

With his father dead and his mother hospitalized (the Malfoys being kind enough to help with her expenses, to his extreme gratitude and shame), Greg now lives alone, with his baby sister Gertie (a dormmate of Rachel Cooper and Minnie Sung at Hogwarts, and the complete opposite of him, as she's extremely clever and never advocated any sort of purism) joining him on the holidays, and works as a bouncer at the same nightclub where Evan and Sean work.

Oh, and I should warn you that his English is appalling, especially in written form, and he can't spell to save his life. When you see him post, don't be alarmed. You can find more about him here.

Less than twenty-four hours after the loss of Morag and Edwin I bring you the first of my new characters (though I'm still not sure who will follow or when it will be).

This is Matt O'Geary. He's in his early twenties and a complete and total Yankee. Though he was born in Korea he was adopted by an American family when he was three. He was raised as a Muggle in an extremely conservative and very religious setting a lot of which didn't take very well with Matt. Not the religion so much as the not very Christian nature of the teachings of the church.

Not that it really mattered much, he was effectively cut off by his father when they learned he was a wizard and though is mother defied her husband by getting assistance from her father to send Matt to school the relationships between Matt and his family are rather strained.

He's been working as a freelance reporter since graduating from Salem in 1998 and over the last few years he's started tracing his family as best as he could given the limitations in resources involved. He's finally traced everything back to the Sungs and Sung trading.

Like Dawn, I extend my apologies for a long absence. I also lost my way with the characters, but let's try again!

I'm shedding Anthony and Ethan, but still have Yue and Cece here.

Yue Sung, Cursebreaker and Chairman of Sung Trading, is still healing after his bad accident in Peru, but the combination of physiotherapy and a lot of loving from Spencer is doing him a lot of good. He was a bit of a grumpy gus when he came back and is now a lot more light-hearted. Although I missed it, he would have definitely attended Su and Declan's wedding and given speeches, and jokes... ^^ He's basically been working on healing up and being cuddly with Spencer. But he needs to get out more - so please, throw him plots and ideas and whatever!



Cece Barbary opened her tea shop and has mostly been concentrating on making it a success as well as being a good Mummy to little Miranda. She is desperately in need of some plottage!

I suppose I should start with apologies for my long, LONG absence. It wasn't an intentional one so much as a combination of life getting away from me a bit and feeling rather aimless as to what my purpose in game was but thanks to the awesome Alison I'm here to dust things off and give it another go.

This time around I reluctantly leave behind Morag and Edwin both felt flat and I honestly had/have no idea where I wanted to take them. I do return with Spencer and Mei both of whom felt a bit more real the last time I made this attempt and both of whom have a bit more interaction to give both myself and the rest of you. :)

So, to reintroduce my remaining two (who should be joined by one or two new characters...and perhaps a different old one before too long):

Firstly is Mei Chang



Mei is still working her butt off as a sous chef and taking cooking classes in her spare time because she's decided she wants to be a real chef. During my absence Mei has continued to be her usually doggedly cheerful self while working a bit too hard and not playing nearly enough. She's also been dealing with growing family tension as her older sister Cho has become increasingly close to her Muggle boyfriend and their family does not approve.

And then there's Spencer Quick



Anyone who's seen Spencer in the last six months has basically seen the blissed-out honeymoon version of him. He's rebuilding things with Yue and couldn't be happier. Don't be surprised if he zones out when he's talking to you, he just has different things on his mind these days. He should be coming back into the world a bit by now and will be taking more of an interest in things that aren't Yue.

Please, give me things. Lots of things.

Hey y'all! Alison here, finally bringing you Glenys Smith, the over-achieving, compulsively helpful ex-headgirl. She is based (quite strongly!) on my Helga Hufflepuff and is, in my head, the 'heir of Hufflepuff.' Humour me, okay? Okay. I got a bit carried away with her bio, considering this is a PSL, so someone should read that to make me feel better about spending so much time on it in the airport.

Briefly, omg, she is so nice. She's class of '95 so was headgirl when Leon was headboy – connections there, Heather? She was Hufflepuff, obviously, with Kevin – connections there too, Heather? ;-) However, she's the sort of person who will make sure she knows everybody and will have tried to take care of you at some point whether you liked it or not, so let me know if you want to do something with that. Also, she'll have relationships with the prefects, so we should chat about those. She's Welsh and proud, so you other non-English Britons can talk to her about national pride. She works as a Healer, so I'm sure she can know a couple of you that way (Cass and Larissa?) AND she has also done counselling following the Battle of Hogwarts so MORE CONNECTIONS THERE IF YOU WANT. She will basically know everybody. Also, her younger siblings may be in your years so you might know them too. She is broadly Christian, specifically Quaker. She's good at Potions, Herbology, Charms, CoMC and Muggle Studies. She is every single stereotype of Hufflepuff in one package, except that she isn't stupid, she just sometimes comes across as a bit naïve.

I finally got around to putting up Lee and Yakov's bios! They're just the Goblet bios with a brief blurb afterwards on what's going on now, but they're there. This now means I can play them. So...

Lee (this journal) is working as a Quidditch commentator, predictably enough. I think I'd like him to have a flatmate - any offers or suggestions?

Yakov affableslob, for those of you who don't know him, is basically the laziest person you ever met. His interests are eating and sleeping. He has poor personal hygiene. He is also pretty sweet and friendly, though. He was at Hogwarts in the Durmstrang contingent during GoF and his only appearances in canon revolve around him drawing Karkaroff's ire for having food spilt down his robes. Since leaving Durmstrang he has done very very little, and is basically hitchhiking his way round Europe and picking up odd jobs as he goes. He's going to be serving canapes at the Halloween party on Saturday and then he'll hang out and try and find a job in England for a bit.

Hello Everyone!!! Sorry it's taken me this long to get my introduction post up! I just graduated from college and its been busy finishing that and looking for jobs! But now I am more free!

For those of you who don't know me from Accio Goblet, I'm Lindsey and I'm a 23 year old computer addict. Okay maybe it isn't that serious but I'm sure you all know what I mean. I'm from Michigan which means I'm constantly living in bipolar weather and I hate it! Anyways that's enough about me.

Natasha is a Ravenclaw of 1995 who graduated with Leon and Luke and honestly those were her best friends there. Although she was social with the delegates from the other schools who came from the Triwizard Tournament. Even though she wasn't super close to Cedric, his death did greatly affect her seeing as she had classes with him for seven years!

Since graduating she started her job as a Curse-breaker (a wizard archaeologist) for Gringotts and has loved every minute of it. However when the war broke out it caused some problems. About a year and a half after she graduated her father was killing on the job and it really woke her mother and herself up. The moved to Poland until the war ended just to be safe and in case her father's killing wasn't just an accident like they were always told. Once the war ended she moved back to England and contiuned her training. She quickly regained contact with her friends. Her and Leon finally decided to date and it was an amazing time for her but then the news came, she was getting transferred. She was assigned to India for a long-term position. She ended up being the one to end it with Leon even though it killed her. She said it was because she knew that they would always be focused on their work but really she was always scared that she was going to hold him back and wanted him to be famous. She started a relationship over in India but it was never the same, it was always Leon. Being in India she hasn't been caught up on the WWN and how famous Leon has become and what the rest of her friends have been doing.

Her contract just ended and she has just moved back to London and hopes to reunite with all her friends.
