I finally got around to putting up Lee and Yakov's bios! They're just the Goblet bios with a brief blurb afterwards on what's going on now, but they're there. This now means I can play them. So...

Lee (this journal) is working as a Quidditch commentator, predictably enough. I think I'd like him to have a flatmate - any offers or suggestions?

Yakov affableslob, for those of you who don't know him, is basically the laziest person you ever met. His interests are eating and sleeping. He has poor personal hygiene. He is also pretty sweet and friendly, though. He was at Hogwarts in the Durmstrang contingent during GoF and his only appearances in canon revolve around him drawing Karkaroff's ire for having food spilt down his robes. Since leaving Durmstrang he has done very very little, and is basically hitchhiking his way round Europe and picking up odd jobs as he goes. He's going to be serving canapes at the Halloween party on Saturday and then he'll hang out and try and find a job in England for a bit.

	Yay! Lee - I think Larissa and Anais are most likely to have contact with him. Yakov - I'm guessing maybe only Anzelm? Unless you have thoughts/feels? (Reply to this) (Thread)

All of mine have their housing settled now, I'm afraid, but if all else fails I can throw some possible NPCs.

Anyway, here's what my kids thing about yours:

Miles:
Lee will know him from Quidditch, obviously. I like to think he was one of the least obnoxious in the Slytherin team back at school, but house rivalry would have still got in the way. Still, Miles says he thinks Lee is cool.
Miles remembers Yakov from the Tournament (he was hard to miss even with every eyes turned to Krum) but he doesn't know him that well.

Leah:
Being the twins' cousin doesn't mean Lee will know her that well. He might still remember her as the skinny thing with glasses she was at school.
And since Leah was a second-year during the Tournament, I'm sure she and Yakov didn't register at all on each other's radar back then.

Tiago:
He'll remember Yakov, whom I seem to recall claimed Tiago's life goal of becoming a surfer was just too much work. *grins* He'll be nice to Lee too.

Hamish:
Another Quidditch connection for Lee!
I don't remember if he and Yakov had that much to do with each other, though, beyond the fact Yakov was often confused by Hamish's tendency to mix languages.

Jamie:
Jamie thinks Lee is a cool guy.
And because he's a bit of a germophobe, I can see him be a bit horrified with Yakov at times.

Samir:
He and Lee were Fashion Club buddies! I'm sure Lee will be envious of the fact he occasionally has naked ladies in his studio.
I think he and Yakov got along well, though they were never super close.

Luna:
Luna says Hello, Lee Jordan. :) He's DA, and therefore in her eyes a friend.
And she'll be friendly to Yakov too, obviously.

Cormac:
And yet another Quidditch connection. I'm sure Lee will still be eyerolly about Cormac at times.
He and Yakov were civil to each other, which I can see continuing here.

Declan:
Now this is the one I'm really curious about. I'm sure Lee was not that impressed with the younger McLaggen when they were at school, what with his tendency to be spouting purist nonsense and being rude. On the other hand, the period of surprise of learning he'd changed his ways, fought in the Battle, etc, etc, must have passed by now - but it's up to you.
And I remember Yakov was none too impressed during the "borrowed" journal incident, but he might not remember that either. Declan won't remember their conversation anyway, and will be civil.

Zoe:
Saving the best for last, it seems! Zoe is glad one of her favourite archnemesis-es is in game - let the snark begin!
And she still turns her nose at Yakov's slobbish tendencies and thinks it's a waste of a pretty face. She'll still be friendly, though.

Hmm. I'll ask Holly if she thinks George would live with him or if he wants to mope alone in the flat above WWW.

Miles - Lee is still a bit anti-Slytherin, but he would have tried to soften on that for professional purposes, because he likely wouldn't get hired if he was too... "And here comes Flint, knocks Chambers out of the way. He always did have a knack for fouls, even back in school."

Tiago - haha, oh Yakov. If he is ever in Portugal he will turn up on Tiago's doorstep and expect to stay there. If you talk to Yakov ever, he is your friend and he thinks you are likely to feed him.

Samir - yeahhhh Lee is going to try to get invited to the naked lady painting days.

Lee loves Luna <3

I hope Cormac and Lee can continue to be bantering frenemies :-)

Declan - Eek, I'd forgotten that. Yakov did not appreciate being called a trollhead by someone who does not even speak a million languages with different alphabets.
You're right, Lee would immediately soften to someone who fought in the battle, and will probably know him as Cormac's brother. He will be sympathetic ;-)

Tiago, being the way he is, wouldn't have the heart to turn Yakov down. I'm sure his waking up at 5am might make him stay there for only a short while, though. He was pretty quiet at that time while Valentina was visiting so that she could sleep, but he'd probably be less careful with a guy friend.

Yeaaaah, Samir doesn't think that's a good idea. XD

I'm sure the bantering frenemy thing can still happen.

Ooh, the million languages thing reminds me of something Jamie and Yakov can talk about, namely the fact they both know Hebrew, even if Jamie isn't as fluent.

Zoe and Lee together are a thing of beauty. I think they can both agree to that as well.

	That's what I'm thinking, maybe. Aww Tiago. I'm pretty sure Yakov is about as sound a sleeper as it's possible to be, so he may not notice... Haha, Hebrew conversations! We need to get Quentin back in here so we can have extra Jewish fun times. (Reply to this) (Parent)
