Hey y'all! Alison here, finally bringing you Glenys Smith, the over-achieving, compulsively helpful ex-headgirl. She is based (quite strongly!) on my Helga Hufflepuff and is, in my head, the 'heir of Hufflepuff.' Humour me, okay? Okay. I got a bit carried away with her bio, considering this is a PSL, so someone should read that to make me feel better about spending so much time on it in the airport.

Briefly, omg, she is so nice. She's class of '95 so was headgirl when Leon was headboy – connections there, Heather? She was Hufflepuff, obviously, with Kevin – connections there too, Heather? ;-) However, she's the sort of person who will make sure she knows everybody and will have tried to take care of you at some point whether you liked it or not, so let me know if you want to do something with that. Also, she'll have relationships with the prefects, so we should chat about those. She's Welsh and proud, so you other non-English Britons can talk to her about national pride. She works as a Healer, so I'm sure she can know a couple of you that way (Cass and Larissa?) AND she has also done counselling following the Battle of Hogwarts so MORE CONNECTIONS THERE IF YOU WANT. She will basically know everybody. Also, her younger siblings may be in your years so you might know them too. She is broadly Christian, specifically Quaker. She's good at Potions, Herbology, Charms, CoMC and Muggle Studies. She is every single stereotype of Hufflepuff in one package, except that she isn't stupid, she just sometimes comes across as a bit naïve.

Be friends with her!

Her bio is way smaller than the ones I wrote for any of my Felix characters, you know. :D That said, I loved it - and so does my Lockhart muse. *grins* It describes Glenys pretty well, I think.

Anyway, as for my characters...
The Hufflepuffs adore her. Zoe used to see her as a sort of mentor, given that Glenys was Head Girl when she became a prefect.
All my Ravenclaws respect her, even if none of them is particularly close (in Hamish's case, however, it depends on what Heahter and Julie have to say about Larissa and Cass, though).
The McLaggens probably gave her a few headaches at Hogwarts - Declan especially, since he was at his most brattish during her final year. She's probably surprised that both of them have grown into responsible family men.
And believe it or not, Miles respects her too, to the point he's having trouble trying to think of a silly nickname for her. Be proud, Glenys.

Also, I feel like I should leave this here... *hides*

Haha, yes, but I hate writing bios so much I don't even bother with them in my game.

<3 for Zoe. And Samir and Jamie.
I'm hoping she and Cass can be friendly, so she may know Hamish a bit better. She likes Leah and Luna too.
Haha, the McLaggens. She probably always thought they could be better people and held out hope for it, so now is just pleased that they took the paths they did.
Aww Miles. She'll welcome a nickname, if he comes up with one.

Hahahahaha St. Mungo's Christmas party? :-P

Gah, I forgot Tiago! He'll remember Glenys because she was Head Girl - and, as always, he'll be nice.

Yeah, I was assuming she would know Tiago at least a little because she made a point of being friendly to all the foreign students, feeling it was part of her headgirl duties for that year.

And as for a nickname, Miles is stuck between "Blondie" and "Helga II". He'd go for "Smithy", but says there seems to be as many of you as there are Weasleys.

Hey Alison - look at the things I miss on downtime! Oops.

We should definitely plot backstory for Leon and Kevin - there will definitely be deeper connections there.

Larissa obvs doesn't work at St Mungo's but with only a year's difference in age, they will have been in training together for a short amount of time pre/post war. We can say they know each other from that?

Depending on Glenys' department, she could have treated Anzelm's kids at some point (who have both been in the hospital - kids of Aurors apparently get the dramatic gene?)?

Fewer connections for Anais, unless we say they knew each other from classes in 7th year?

I know, right? Busy busy busy.

Glenys actually had to repeat her first year of Healer training due to having a bit of a mental breakdown, so she'll be in the same 'year' with regards to their studies. So yes, they can know each other!

I've said she works in the Children's Ward but I don't know if she has a specialism within that. I reckon we can say she treated Anzelm's kids.

Yes, I think so. Glenys made a point of befriending all of the foreign students as she felt that making them feel welcome was part of her headgirl duties for the year.

Speaking of-! Re: she and Leon. I think her headgirl appointment would have caused less surprise than Leon's, and she would have worked really hard at it (like she does everything, but maybe even more so). I think they would have been quite a good team, though. Glenys definitely isn't shy, but she's less good in the limelight than Leon, preferring to work in the background and help people one-on-one. She could have helped him get more responsible and he could have helped her get less naive when listening to people's excuses.

Aaaaaaand Kevin. I would like for them to be friends! They both like animals, and would have shared classes, and isn't he muggle-born? I tried to check stuff in your bio, but it's empty :-P And he's in Wales, and Glenys is too so... yeah.

Larissa - Awesome :)

Anzelm - Also works for me!

Anais - Friendly acquaintances, then?

Leon - We can say that they balanced each other to a point, then, which is fun. What do you think to them being friends later, or staying in touch during/post war?

Kevin - He isn't muggleborn, but he has muggleborn grandparents on both sides, so there's that! (His bio is empty because it's a PSL and I haven't had time to focus on updating, lol, but I'll get it done eventually.) I'd like them to be friends as they were in the same house for seven years - unless you have other ideas on that front, he could have asked her to the Yule Ball?

That all sounds good. Glenys would stay in touch with Leon.

Kevin - yes to friends! Glenys isn't muggle-born either, but her family lives amongst muggles, so she's more up on muggle things than many. Yep, he can have totally asked her to the Yule Ball. I should warn you that I ship her with Ernie (we played Ernie and Helga together in Fourteen Shades) so that is her final destination, romance-wise, but I am up for a past?

You remember Kevin from Feinted as well as Goblet, yes? He would only have had the guts to ask girls as friends, lol, so tis OK by me :)

I remember him a little, but I don't think he had cause to interact much with either of mine, and it was such a busy game I used to get lost a lot! PSLs are much easier for me, haha.

Natasha was the same year with her although in Ravenclaw so obviously they would know each other.

I think so! And they're the only Hogwarts girls in that year, so they should be friendly for the sake of not always being around guys! Also, she was headgirl alongside Leon, so she will know him as well, and know Natasha that way.
