TIME UPDATE

Tuesday, January 17th, 2215

Weather: No changes.

Events: There’s a sense of normalcy in Haven, as people seem to be making the effort to go back to their normal way of life. The new construction/removal process at the hospital is off to a successful start, and even those working at the hospital are settling into a more standard routine, even if some of their surroundings have changed.

Haven’s newspaper reached out to the Council to see if the election would be postponed in light of the recent tragedy. Helena Vandermeer releases a statement on behalf of the Council, insisting that elections will still be held on the 30th. The debate between Kieran Sullivan and Maxwell Wallace has been rescheduled for this coming Friday. The Council will be very busy over the next few days, as they are attending to the trials of Alexander Saito’s alleged accomplices. The newspaper publishes a list of trials set for the week, including supposed go-betweens, co-conspirators, and the man that built the bomb. Several of the accused have already entered guilty pleas, and are expected to be banished. There is some speculation on whether or not the man who built the bomb would be sentenced to death if found guilty, but the Council refuses to comment on this.
