Thursday, January 12th, 2215Weather: By eight in the morning it’s snowing hard, and it shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. This could make things difficult at the hospital.
Events: Tomorrow’s debate has been canceled, which is a surprise to no one considering the chaos.
Recovery efforts are still on-going at the hospital. There’s a confirmed death toll of 109, and that is only expected to climb through the next few days. Many are still unaccounted for, leaving loved ones to pray they’re still alive somewhere in the rubble.
The only comfort for a lot of people is the fact that Alexander Saito has been arrested. On the news this evening it’s announced that he has been charged with the bombing, and several charges of conspiracy and treason have been laid against him. The Council will oversee his trial personally.
Many of the details haven’t been released to the public yet, but there are rumors going around that his own daughter found proof of his involvement in his home. She is expected to testify against Saito at his trial.
