Hello all! It's your favorite mods once more with an update on the developments being made during the month of April. Starting tomorrow, Monday the 11th, the Collector will be allowing characters who have been within the city for some time to update to their most recent canon. A character will wake up in the morning with the memories of what has happened to them during the time that they have been in the city. They won't change physically (so if someone happened to lose a limb or gain a scar during their canon update, they will still have that limb/be scar free in Colligo), but if anything happened that would effect them mentally, this would carry over along with the memories that went along with the change.
To be considerate of individuals who might not have seen new canon on the release date, we ask that you wait at least a week from the original airdate of a new episode to update your character to that canon. If you're planning on canon updating your character, be sure to drop the mods a line, preferrably in the mod inbox, so that we know that their canon point as change, and if possible, make a note of it in their original application. Also, try to be sparing with your canon updates. It gets very confusing for other characters, as well as your own, if you find yourself updating them every week or every other week.
Secondly, starting the 15th, the Collector will be introducing a new plot for the city. Or should I say, plots? Because the time has come, my friends, for the city to experience a reboot of the Collector's Greatest Hits. Any character driven plot that the city has experienced will be available for the new characters to experience. While the city itself will remain the same, free of invasion or alteration, the characters will be open to a variety of different changes as well as potentially experiencing several changes at the same time. Everyone should take the next week to work out what they want their characters to undergo. Some of the potential options are:
If anyone wants random pairings for a forced marriage or a powerswap, feel free to ask the mods, and we'll pair up anyone that requests. Also, plot amongst yourselves. The upcoming madness offers a lot of options for characters to not only get to know each other better but amusing situations for your characters to meet someone new.
Also, remember, the Collector will be revealing himself soon, so if your science types still want to come across interesting new facts about Colligo in the upcoming weeks, feel free to ask the mods for details.
