I hope it was not to presumptuous of me, but I took the liberty of procuring a few little gifts and trinkets for the Christmas occasion. In truth was I not exactly sure what to get, so I simply stuck with a few pieces of exquisite jewelry...and a new pair of skates for us both. I thought if things go well with the party, we could slip away after it was over and try our hand at skating within one of those local rinks you spoke of before.

I was advised that a few of you lot may be around, and thought it best to confer. If we are truly trapped within this place I shall need to find a reliable source of blood, so I figured it best to make my inquiries with you who have been here longer. Is there a blood bank at hand, or are we to simply sample the local population?

So who wants to explain to me why my son and I are suddenly here?

This is super weird.

I go to get dressed for work and find my favorite skirt just hanging in the closet complete with sweater, shoes and jewelry. I know I mentioned wanting the skirt to someone just within the last few days so its striking.

But at the same time its nice: its comforting to have a small thing that's more personal than a pile of notebooks.

I miss my husband and daughter. Could whoever brought me here either return me to them or bring them here?

Okay. I keep thinking I'm going to wake up from this really weird dream, but it's not happening.

My name is Rose. Apparently, there's been another version of me here for weeks, which I am still trying to wrap my head around. Weird. I probably wouldn't have believed it if Jim and Carol hadn't insisted. Besides, they're kind of shit liars with this kind of stuff.
