Well, that was a bit crazy.

Anyone want to find an area with me we could make into a Quidditch area? I feel like I've fallen out of practice.

...It feels so strange that it's going to be the first of September Thursday, and I don't have a train to school to catch. Does that feeling ever go away, or does it continue being weird every year? Not... that I would know back home.

In other news, paint gets everywhere. EVERYWHERE! Thank Merlin for magic or I'd be an awful shade for life.

So, I feel we should have a party. I had a cake for my birthday earlier, but we could all use some fun and relaxation here.

I know this wasn't my doing. If I was to apparate somewhere, it would not be in muggle America. I'd be at home or a pub, or.. to check on the school structure. Certainly not at today of all days, when I should be with my family on this special holiday.
