What a fascinating turn of events. Everyone seems to be acquiring strange powers! It's difficult to describe mine... It's like seeing patterns in everything, seeing order, or what the order ought to be. I wonder if this is how Cass feels all the time?
My mother's become a shape-shifter. She's hanging around the Thames... as a seal. It's lovely to see. My husband seems to be glowing, though I never thought he DIDN'T...
Some notes -- Carrick and Pinion, will you please come fetch your little pet Frenchman? He's become a gargoyle and is panicking and knocking things over.
And while I am loathe to request this, will anyone who has developed fire powers please avoid my shop until this power-having business is sorted out? I think I'm finally starting to get a handle on this, which is good. Because what's awesome? Is confetti, and I cannot describe just how therapeutic and cathartic it is to blow up a couple beauty magazines for the cat to roll around in the shreds.
Also: I don't have to go all the way to the roof to break crockery now if I need to let off some steam. I mean, I still could but I don't have to. |

Well that is the strangest and rather most disgusting thing that's ever happened to me.
My saliva, it seems, is now ink, not unlike the witches in the Roald Dahl book of the same title. It doesn't taste like ink, which I am immensely thankful for, but I can write with it. |

I've suddenly gained the rather useful ability to find anything. I found a book I lost two months ago this morning just by thinking about it.
In fact, I heard a woman on the street talking about how she lost her spare house keys.
And I KNEW where they were.
In her house, in the third cabinet from the left in the kitchen behind a stack of letters inside an old mug her son painted for her for Mother's Day.
