Sweet Tea Bunt Cake
Hello everyone! Hope you've had a good week!

I survived my doctor appointment on Wednesday and I've got skin growing in the middle of my boo-boo! That means the graft is working! I'm so glad!

Nothing else much is happening this week, which is good. Sally has Wednesday off to take care of her grandson while her other grandbaby has to go out of town for surgery for her poor little teeth. I'm hoping to get some writing done that day. We'll see.

Then again it's the Quantam Bang and I've been reading all morning! They have some great fiction on there, so stop by and check it out!

June is National Iced Tea Month, so here's a recipe! I hope y'all like it!

Safe
Doing this by phone. Electricity is out. Tornado was on edge of town. We are warm, but safe.

~☆~☆~☆~

Update: Our electricity came back an hour ago. So, from 7am to 5pm, we were without power, all over town. There is conflicting reports of an f1 tornado or just super high winds. I'm going to go with tornado based on the amount of damage around town.

I have some downed limbs. Neighbors have downed trees. I don't think that there are any deaths, but we shall see.

Stay safe everyone.

One of the greatest problems of our time is that many are schooled but few are educated."

Lime Gelatin Salad
Good morning everyone! Well, it's still morning for me. Hope you had a great week!

I finally got my skin graft! WHOOT! So glad that's going on. Hopefully, that means my leg will be healed up in a couple of months! I'm excited!

Sally took me to the dermatologist on Tuesday and that went well. So that's good. It was hilarious because Sally hadn't done laundry and was in this gauzy skirt and was in the door of her car when she pulled up in. LOL!

She also saw it while cooking in the kitchen and forgot she was in a skirt. She thought it was a rodent of some kind and squealed. We both about bust a gut laughing!

Since tomorrow is Memorial Day, my normal doctor appointment got squished into the tail end of Wednesday. So I'll be out late again. This time I think, Sally's going to work that day until I leave so that means she can fix me lunch and dinner to have when I get back, so yay!

There's quite a line of storms in the Midwest, headed toward WV. I hope no one gets hurt in them. I heard several people were killed in a tornado last night in Texas. Terrible. And hopefully, my power won't go out!

I have a summer treat for a recipe today! I used to eat this all the time at church potlucks and during the summer. Okay, we used Cool Whip instead of whipping heavy cream, but it was good! I hope you like it!

Enjoy!
