Hey, Gino... do you have a minute?

Does anyone need help?

Defense Force people, we should probably try and coordinate trying to help as many people as we can! I've got some extra flashlights.
01 October 2010 at 10:27 pm
[A voice calls out on the communicator, sounding shaky.]

The monsters are... back!

[Tsukasa sounds out of breath, like he's run a long way.]

I... they're in sector five, at least...

[He hisses in pain as he tries to dodge another raptor.]

[He's running out of magic for healing, let alone attack spells...]

Chuck, is everything all right?

I haven't been keeping track of the communicator lately.

Has anything happened that I should know about? And anyone can answer, not just Chuck.
23 September 2010 at 02:30 pm
[ Chuck is out on patrol this fine -- albeit weird -- afternoon! Sarah had seemed kind of tired today, so he's letting her sleep. It would have been fun to just spend most of the day in bed curled up with her, but he does have a job to do -- and more than likely if he'd tried she would have told him to go anyway. But he's in a pretty good mood, more or less.

Actually, he's really sort of on Cloud Nine and definitely not paying as close attention as he should. ]

((ooc: Chuck is wandering the prison, so feel free to encounter him! His superpower is post-cog via touch. If someone touches him or he touches him or her, he will see something that happened in that person's past. It can be some deep, dark secret event or as simple as the person having breakfast that morning; anything at all! The person will know, however, that he's seen it, and will see it as well. Anyone have any suppressed memories they want their characters to know about? XD))

[There's a panicked shout from a room in the shelter, and Jun turns on his communicator, pointing the camera down at his chest, revealing a hard, dark, metallic chest plate with protrusions sprouting from his chest. His voice is shaky when he speaks.]

Did... did anyone else wake up... different today?

[Please let him not have been the only one. D8 ]
The 81st Day
20 September 2010 at 09:11 pm
Good morning inmates. It is the 81st day of the third generation.

As some may have already noticed, several hours ago there was a small explosion in Sector 2. Remote units have commenced a cleanup of the area, and any classes in or close to the Education Center labs will not be held in their designated rooms because of this. Direct all class inquires and concerns to your teachers.

Construction of the playground in Sector 6 is finished, and now open for inmate use.

Inmate Tavros Nitram, your request is at the entrance to Sector 0.

[It's been far too quiet for Q's liking. That one fellow with the green hair had everyone in a tizzy when he told them they were virgins. Well, if they like sex so much...]

Who wants to have prison sex?
13 September 2010 at 09:58 pm
[Tsukasa looks a little nervous as he turns on his communicator.]

Um... so I made some cookies last night... and I made too many. They're chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia nut. Does anyone want some?
07 September 2010 at 02:21 pm
[The communicator turns on this time showing yet another confused, restrained inmate in a suit none the less. He's Looking around panicked, then he finds the note and his eyes widen. Prison?]

Um... this has got to be some sort of joke. [slightly panicked now] the children. I'm supposed to be helping save the children. Not be put in jail for.... [/he trails off]

Jack, Gwen? can someone explain this? Heck I'll even take The Doctor or John at this point...

[ooc: he's in the pet cafe]
06 September 2010 at 06:06 pm
[The communicator turns on, and shows a blonde woman looking confused and definitely put out. She notices the welcome basket and the message, which she picks up, looking at it with a distrusting eye.]

I don't know what's going on here. The last thing that I remember... Well, it wasn't here.

This can't be happening, not now.
06 September 2010 at 09:33 pm
This prison has a library, right? What would I have to do to be able to check out books from there?

[LOCKED to: Charles "Chuck" Bartowski]

... if you're not busy, I have some questions about the defense force.

[In the morning... He's just woken up, showered, and is feeling kind of -- partly refreshed, partly strange. Yesterday was productive, and an experience, and -- well. He's just loitering in the HQ. Business to take care of...]

Hey! Got a second to spare? I wanted to talk to you.
[ action / open ] Paintball!
01 September 2010 at 09:18 pm
[ Chuck's standing in front of a table. On the table are three boxes. In the first box, there are bags with paintball "markers" (guns) and ammunition. In the second box are goggles. On the third, there are thinly padded helmets and chest pieces, all in black. Chuck is wearing all the gear, but his headgear has a little white flag attached to it. ]

Okay! [ Very excited. Sort of looks like a spaniel puppy who has to go to the bathroom. ] Thanks, everybody, for coming out. [ Waves! ]

I'm Chuck, and I'm going to be your ref. Behind me -- [ Indicates the fields behind him that are littered with hay bales of various sizes and heights. Both fields have been set up into one large play area. ] -- is our game field. The boundaries are the white lines along the perimeter. If anyone just wants to watch, they can sit in the bleachers.

[ Rubs his hands together. Sort of nervous now, but hey, still soldiering on. ]

Here's how we're going to do this. Everybody get in line and come up. You give me your name, I'll put it down and then I'll give you your marker and ammo, and you can pick out your gear. Everybody has to wear the headgear and goggles. The chest piece is optional. Once everybody has their stuff, we'll play.

I just have a few rules. First, no head or face shots. I mean it. [ Srs face. ] Second, no shooting someone more than once per encounter. And third, no attacking with anything other than a paintball. The markers can't be modified, and you can't hit someone with your marker.

I've got white paint. I'm the only person. If I see you someone breaking a rule, they're going to get hit with white paint. That person has to sit out on the bleachers for ten minutes. If I catch them more than once, they can't play anymore. Also... no shooting the ref.

No teams, and we'll count the hits at the end of the hour. Whoever wins gets... ah... the pleasure of bragging rights. [ Ehehehe. ] After, party at the club.

Okay, let's go!

((ooc: Event style tagging under the headers. Threadjacks are encouraged. People can skip the sign-up process and/or mingle pre-game, or just go straight to playing. More details here. :D))
The 78th Day
30 August 2010 at 08:17 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 78th day of the third generation.

Today some of you may be interested to know that a game of paintball will be held at noon at the athletic fields. They have received temporary decoration for the purpose of the game. Please use protective eyewear, and take caution with the paintball guns. Also be aware that the paintball guns will be collected and inventoried at the conclusion of the game.

Direct questions to inmate Chuck Bartowski.

Inmate Peregrine Mendicant, your request will be delivered to the post office shortly.

[Kamui honestly hadn't expected to find a beach inside the prison. It's a surprise, but not really an unpleasant one. Growing up in Okinawa means that beaches are a familiar sight to Kamui, even if he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to go swimming -- he's still fully-clothed, shoes and all.]

[Instead he stands on the shore, several feet away from the water line, and watches the waves come and go while the dolphins frolic about. It's a pleasant sight but it doesn't quite manage to put a smile on his face. Still, he looks calm and relaxed for once, his expression that of a teenager that's simply spacing out instead of losing himself in thought.]

Wow... Just wow. That's all I can really say about that. Don't think I could even get names down if I tried... Wonder if those guys will work things about better than some of us still here.

[Probably not but hear the sound of clapping.]

Okay, I say no more talking about it. Good or bad, can't change it now. Gotta keep just moving forward, am I right?

So I wanna hear everyone give one reason to be happy today, okay?
The 77th Day
23 August 2010 at 10:18 pm
Good morning inmates. It is the 77th day of the third generation.

All stabilizer errors have been corrected, and the individuals who arrived due to them are no longer present in the facility. However, a significant amount of damage was made to a part of the Sector 5 residential area yesterday, so inmates should refrain from approaching or interfering with the construction.

Princess Nunnally, if you could be in the hospital lobby for 9 A.M, please.
