I found Caroline and one of Katherine's facetwins a few minutes ago. I'm not sure which one and I wasn't going to wait and find out. They'd both been shot and I've taken them to the medbay. Before you ask I saw no one fleeing the area and wasn't nearby when the attack happened. I merely found them afterwards.

I don't like all this fighting. It's all a bit out of hand. Nobody hurt nobody or nothing.

I just wanted you all to know that it worked. My wish, that is. I was all fine. It didn't hurt or nothing, and I was me the entire time.

It's weird to remember what happens when I'm the wolf though.

The party/toy/donation drive shindig is in two days. We've reached our goal already but I think it'd be amazing to surpass is. I know not everyone has the money to donate toys and things but time is also a great thing to donate so please if you can do that it'd be great. There's more than a thousand toys to wrap and any helpers would be great.

Also I need someone to paint an awesome snowman game for Rose's center celebration. Any takers?

As you all should probably expect right now, the Lawrence Youth Center is having a winter celebration. Not calling it Christmas because ha, not dealing with the PCness. Besides, I spin a mean dreidle.

So we'll hold it on December 20th and, as always, you're all invited. I can also use volunteers but I really just want everyone, especially those of you with kids, to get a chance to enjoy yourselves. We'll have Santa there, hopefully some entertainment (still pulling a few strings), games, and a white elephant gift exchange. Not for any particular holiday, cough cough, but who doesn't like gifts?

There is apparently a donut shop in Wichita that has Doctor Who donut day every Saturday.

Someone is going and getting me a Bad Wolf donut. That is all.

So look at that, seal's being a jackass. Must be Tuesday.

One thing I will say. I've seen it all since the seal started bringing you here and taking you away. You learn it changes people, helps them grow, brings out the best, and yeah, sometimes the worst in people. You think you can't cope, think its taken too many people, but it gives back what it takes, for whatever reason.

New people, you're walking into a hell of an interesting dynamic. So welcome. And to those that have lost people. Keep to that hope, because seriously, this world, you never know.

So I know there's still a week to go until Thanksgiving, but I thought I'd get this in early.

What am I thankful for this year?

I'm thankful for five stolen months, for the opportunity to know what it was like to be married to the love of my life death, for the chance to tell him how much he meant to me and for the chance to come to terms with fact that forever is always way too short.

But, despite all of that, I'm finding it really hard to feel thankful right now.


To all of Damon's friends, I'm sorry. He's gone. It took him. Feel free to join me in wallowing.

To anyone who wants to use this opportunity to kick me while I'm down, go for it. Nothing you can say could make me feel worse right now.

Guess which vampire managed a glass of blood this morning?! This one! And, just to prove it wasn't a fluke, it's my second this week!

Not that this is a magical cure or anything, I still had the same issues with other attempts between the two successes, but, still, progress!

I couldn't have come this far without you guys. And it is possible that my gorgeous husband did a happy dance this morning. There was bouncing. Then he threatened to go and get pom poms. I drew the line there!
