So, back home I used to throw regular club nights at The Compound

Now, since back in the spring I wished for The Compound to come here, I've decided to hold occasional parties there, instead.

First up, is Halloween.  It won't be child friendly, I'm afraid.  But, those 16 and up are more than welcome.

8pm, October 31st. Fancy dress is not optional.

Thanks everyone who came to laser tag today. I hope you had as much fun as I did and got to release some of that competitive energy.

But shopping! It's getting colder and colder means new clothes. Warmer clothes. And boots. And scarves. And cute hats. And gloves! And a whole bunch of other things. So who's in for a shopping trip? I know Ariel needs things. And Lydia of the Stiles' variety, Stiles says you need to come too.

I also need to buy kid clothes but I'll just go based on size for those instead of dragging along kidlet.

Who else is in? Nowhere fancy this time. I'm thinking just either here in Lawrence or we can always do the short drive to Kansas city. But no Milan.

Thanks to everyone who came over the other day. It looked like people were having fun. And fun is needed in between all the rather sucky parts this place can throw at us.

Hi.

So, it's that time again. Gonna be by myself tomorrow. I need something to do, who's up for it?

Okay, so I know there are probably a lot of us still reeling from the whole having died, watched others die around us, watched the people we love die on tv, or came back from a happy place only to find out that others have died and all that fun stuff.

So I was thinking we should have a fun, end of the summer party next weekend. I know everyone kind of needs the week and all to cling to one another and stuff and yes Labor Day already passed but I missed it and technically there's still some summer left and we should embrace it.

We don't actually have a pool but I can get some of those above ground ones temporarily installed and a few little pools for the little kids and we can have hot dogs and hamburgers and tofu dogs or whatever they are for those who need those.

And there will apparently be a flying robot dinosaur because you people are trying to give me grey hairs so you know you want to come and see a flying robot dinosaur.

But anyway, next Saturday starting at noon and ending whenever. Food, fun, and sun.

I am, as I have previously mentioned very glad to see you safe and returned to us here. I am estactic in fact to have my friend back.

However I could have done without whatever it was that was offensive before you went and now I firmly believe has formed its own civilsation, advanced itself  and discovered biological warfare in the interim. Because the  smell emenating from that room could actually stop invading armies.
And do not blame being taken away. It has been there some time.
