So, I know this is short notice and all, and I totally get if you're busy. But is there any chance you could make a quick trip to Los Angeles? It won't be much any trouble. Just a pop in and pop back out kind of thing.

I'm sorry I was gone for a while. I know I left sort of quickly and I don't know who knows what, but, basically, Kon's in a coma unconscious with minimal brain function. I tried healing him but it didn't work. The doctor doesn't know what's wrong so I've been there, the infirmary that is, but maybe that was the wrong call since I can't do anything here and Ava's still in that room but she's detoxed and she wants to go home. Which, I don't know, I really don't know how to tell if someone's going to relapse, but we can't just keep her locked up forever, and I know I said I'd handle it, and I will, really. I'll be back soon and I'll figure it out.

The super hearing thing. You can use it to check on him even when you're not there? I mean I know one of us will be there pretty much all the time until he wakes up, but nothing's going to happen without you knowing, right? And you'll tell me if I'm back at the house?

And, I'm sorry. I should have realized what was happening sooner. He told me he was going to take a nap and I just thought that's what he was settling into until things got bad and he texted you.
