It's one of those things. Not until I lost my daughter, honestly, but then we weren't taught to see our powers as negative things or things to be used responsibly. I'm anxious about it sometimes, but I'm working back into using it in a responsible manner. I did Rumor a Velociraptor to keep it from eating Claire, so I guess it has its uses. It didn't work often with the general dinosaurs, but I guess I really wanted it to that moment.

	Well, not lost as in died. Just custody. Her father had custody. I was allowed supervised visits and sometimes I wasn't allowed those. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I guess I understood. Like I said, responsible use of power wasn't really...part of the learning curve and sometimes children can be exhausting and it's easy to excuse your own behavior over time. So I get it. I do. But it was hard. Which makes having her here now and getting a chance to...be a better mom a nice change. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
