I cannot tell if that is better or worse than the wet socks. Perhaps the same? That just means we have to wear them at the same time and have an impartial person judge.

It was more of a group effort I didn't take much part in, I guess. Outside of escaping to a different Timeline where another me was dead. Julia and her...friends got magic turned back on, but then the Library and McAllisters seized control and decided who got to have magic for their things until eventually their control was taken away.

Made magic for Hedgewitches more taxing to have only so much you could do and it's basically easier to steal deweys than get your own because they don't see us as "real Magicians".
