  • Showed up in Atlantis at 17.
  • Got a memory dump that put me over 18 a few months later.
  • Showed up here a few months after that but right before my birthday, two years ago now.
  • Last year nothing eventful happened, had a regular birthday.
  • Got booted back home a few months ago, came back with 6 months back home but only 3 months passed here, the week before my birthday.

How old am I? This is like the weirdest fucked up riddle.

Wow here I was trying to get other people to do math for me. Uh, it was like four or five months between arrival in Atlantis and memory fucks? Another six months before ending up in Vallo. Ish.

You have to be specific with the details if you want an exact answer. But give or take a month, you came here with at least 10 extra months tacked on. Even if three months only passed here, and you had six months of memory, the years of aging in these different places, for all intents and purposes, puts you 21, with some carry over. Next birthday will put you at 22, but technically you'll hit it a few months before your actual birthday.

Someone can come check my math if they're going to call you on it.

Does it mess up the math further if I'm only 18 at home but 21 here? Is it the same aging over like rewriting on a VHS?

If you came back to Vallo without memories, this would be a different conversation and I might agree with the VHS analogy. But no, I don't think it messes it up.

Damn okay, was hoping to further complicate it just for fun. I gotta know this stuff for senior citizen discounts someday.

There are people here who are hundreds of years old already and don't look it. You could probably start asking for discounts now.

Do you think the discounts are given based on like, lifespan percentages?

Depends on who you ask. Some businesses might be more lenient than others. But then what is a fair lifespan percentage? Who determines that? Who is going to enforce it? Private businesses operate under their own requirements and rules.

No idea, dude. I don't even know what my lifespan percentage is. Ravi told me once I might live to be like 200 years old but I can still die from like, a freak accident.

So maybe do away with the idea of them all together and just say you're old enough to get a discount. You say money is fake all the time to me, why isn't age?

I mean clearly by this point, age IS fake. It's a bunch of timey wimey bullshit re-recording VHS tapes.

I guess, but why do you need to date yourself by using a VHS as yourself in this scenario? Not even a re-writeable disc?

I pretty much jumped straight to the flash drive era, and I like using VHS cause I grew up with a hacker as one of my guardians. It makes him twitchy when I say things like "VHS or floppy drive or whatever".

I see that your trolling is on the same level no matter the age. Does this mean early bird specials for you? Asleep by 9?
