Hannah

Irate did not do an accurate job describing the rage Seth had felt since receiving the post yesterday. He could not believe the audacity of this woman to send such demands--- to threaten--- Clenching his fists, Seth took a deep breath forcing the thought from his head. It had taken him hours to even think straight. He couldn't allow himself to walk into this encounter out of control. There was no way he was going to give Hannah anything that she could use against him.

It was incredibly hard for him to keep a level head. How could she even begin to think Seth would be more willing to let her see Leanne by threatening an awkward encounter? That just showing up was the best way to approach this? If anything, it made him even less willing to allow Hannah to see the little girl. He certainly hoped she didn't have any expectations of him bringing Leanne along. Seth had dropped her off with his mother for the day (and an overnight stay), not knowing how long this would take. He also didn't want to chance Hannah attempting to follow him home after their meeting.

It didn't take him long after walking to spot her sitting alone in the far corner but he found himself not moving from the doorway. Seth had his reasons for avoiding her. Good reasons. He couldn't trust her, he couldn't trust himself not to say terrible things to her and until his solicitor had figured out the legal tangle that was Leanne's custody, it was better for everyone that Seth just didn't see her. Except now, she had forced his hand. Hannah had found his private, well-warded residence before, Seth wasn't stupid enough to think she was incapable of doing it again.

Pressing his lips into a fine line, he finally made his way to her table, standing behind the chair seated across from her. This was a bad idea, he could already feel it. Seth should have stuck to just letting the solicitors deal with it, but the threat of it being dragged out was too much for him to ignore. Some sort of attempt to avoid this turning into a nasty legal battle should be made. "Well," Seth started aiming for civility, "you have my attention."
