It's nice that the weather's finally begun to turn. Dinah and Napoleon are happy about it as well, since it means they're allowed outside again. Polly's back to presenting Dinah with birds, it's really quite sweet. |

Oh, look, I got accepted into night classes at St. George's. Now I can get my doctorate again. Never hurts a girl to have a side gig, and let's face it, my position at the bank is largely that of a figurehead.
Or a figureass, considering that's all they stare at. Ugh, I wish I could just rip out their hearts. |

Johanna, I forgot to mention, there will be another woman staying with us, now. A friend, of mine and Rurik's, from a past life. She is old, and she is cranky, and if she gives you trouble, deal with her accordingly. She can handle herself.

So the weather's begun to turn, I can't say as yet whether I like the change of seasons in New York as much as I liked it back in London, but I don't mind it, at any rate, though the increase in birds outside is beginning to make Dinah crazy, I think it may be because when everyone was getting powers I became something of a magnet for birds, and now he may think they're all out to get him.
I think the pair of us may go out for some dinner, if any of my particular acquaintances should like to come along, we should quite appreciate the company. |

Well this is just frightfully bothersome isn't it? I seem to be attracting birds for no apparent reason, all colors and sizes. It's... well, as I said, it's bothersome, but at least Dinah is getting some exercise, just pounced a chicken that decided I was its queen or some damn thing. |
