[After recent commotions in the Capital come to light and a marked absence in certain other masked vigilantes, more sightings of the one the internet calls Shade pop up over the next few nights. She's definitely sticking her nose into the city's messiness more and more, especially when it comes to things where kids are involved. Oh, and that shooting a few days earlier, too. She's been seen at all hours of the night, all around town but particularly by the docks and in the poorer sections. Shade isn't just insuring that kids are safe, or that women make it all the way home after work that night, but she starts asking questions, too. About what's going on in the neighborhoods and what people need help with and
who is the cause for
what.
The name sticks for now, at least, and when she grabs a older man out of the way of some trouble and beat the crap out of the no-good carjacker trying to hurt the man or rustles a child's hair after she gets them safely home, she introduces herself as such. Shade continues to focus on protection and prevention and
outreach in the city. Some of the neighborhood people even smile up at her when they see the blonde hair and leather boots perched on a fire escape across the street. Some little kids wave excitedly as she swings by them at dusk. She waves back.
One early morning, towards the end of the week, Shade leaves a little present wrapped up in a bow on the steps of 1 PP: two of the men suspected in connection with that child pornography ring traced to Repose's underbelly. They're tied together and gagged with
maybe more than a few bruises and splashes of blood on their clothes.
