Friday is Winter Solstice. Strangely, it also coincides with a full moon and a meteor shower. Who else is planning on NOT going out Friday night?

OMG HOW AWESOME IS THIS?! I got a Mini Cooper! A blue convertible! EEEEEEEEEEE!!! Thank you, Santa Claus!! Who wants a ride?

[Per her request, the Mini Cooper is blue, but Santa thought she might like a convertible cause she seems like the type. A plain white card is left under one windshield wiper, the inside reading: Merry Christmas, Pippin!

The key is left in a separate envelope, and shoved underneath her apartment door.]

BnB family - are any of you around for Christmas? Should we have dinner together? I'll cook! Or help cook! I haven't had Christmas for a long time and I'm so excited for this one.

Oh, and anyone else that's around with nowhere to go, you should come over, too! I'll be here at the very least.

Today is a special day in the realm of alternate universes and potential spacial/time shifts. December 4th, 1870 the ship Mary Celeste was found under full sail without a single living person on board. The last captain's entry was from ten days before, but nothing to indicate any kind of trouble. Popular speculation was pirates...very neat and clean pirates...but nothing was missing other than the people.

Other theories include aliens, sea monsters or my personal favorite: spacial dimensional travel. It's thought that the crew and passengers encountered a wormhole. On the other side was an alt U's version of them and the ship. They were going to swap realities, but the wormhole collapsed after our versions stepped through.

Oh yeah, and Prohibition was lifted this day in history.

I'm starting to see all these holiday decorations. How bad is it that I totally forgot Christmas was coming? My mom would smack me in the back of the head. And having just got here I don't have any decorations. So I think I'll wander around the shopping district to see what I can get.

I hope I am not overstepping my bounds... I have a friend who is interested in the play, but he does not do well with crowds. Is it alright for him to come to a rehearsal so that he could have a taste of the production without the stress of a full audience around him? If you rather it not be seen until it is ready we understand.

I'd like to lodge a complaint. If someone shoves a religious pamphlet down the front of your shirt and declares that you "Need Jesus," I'm relatively confident that is less than kosher with the law, and also a very bad impression to give a newcomer. I should at least be permitted to speak to the local tourism board.
