I need you to all know that the morgue at the hospital has nothing to do with burials or cremations. If you're unsatisfied with the service, take it up with your undertaker. If your loved one has apparently 'risen from the dead' then that's also not my problem. I don't see every dead body in Repose. I promise, anyone I deal with has very much passed on when they leave the premises. Their organs have been all over my table.

If I get one more rude phone call about disturbed graves or ashes actually being gravy granules I'm not going to be wearing my happy face.

So how do you feel about clients inquiring how you are?

[He wakes up a few days after this. Doctors are baffled. Assume he had some sort of virulent infection that rendered him unconscious. They toss around medical terms, but can't substantiate any of them. An unknown infection, that's the final verdict, and Atticus doesn't contradict them. Is still feeling weak, but he wants to get out of there. Doctors insist on another night and more tests. Annoying, but he stays. Is told by nurses that a woman was there while he was unconscious. Remembers her somehow. Not sure how, but knows he's seen her around town. Takes a guess on the name. Is good at useless details like that, names and faces. Hates the hospital. The place is full of the dead, roaming, confused. Confused dead are worse than the vengeful ones sometimes. Is wasting time here. Needs to finish his work on the ritual before this shit happens again. After, early morning hours:]

It shouldn’t be cold enough for the roads to freeze overnight but keep in mind that if temps drop below 32 degrees F that roads and cars can ice up. Even if temps don’t get that cold make sure you take the time to warm up older cars before you drive them and don’t shotgun the gas on new cars until the cold engine light goes off.

Remember as we get into continuously colder months that cats and other small animals may try to hide under cars and near warm engines, exhausts or other things. Normally, this won't be a problem 99% of the time but if something seems weird with your vehicle pay a little more attention.

Keep in mind that as the temperature drops it will impact your tire pressure as well. From a site quick: "A good estimate is for every 10° fluctuation in air temperature, vehicle tire pressure will adjust by about 1 psi. So if outside air temperature decreases 30° from your last tire pressure adjustment, expect tire pressure to drop about 3 psi." - Keep an eye on this through the winter and make sure to check it regularly.

We're not going with the convertible option. After running the numbers I'd be too concerned about the structural stability while under high pressure isn't something anyone should chance while going over 200mph. It's do-able but the longtime deterioration of the materials would require a large overhaul at a later date and there'd also be the risk of assuring the roof didn't have a technical difficulty and just rip right the fuck off while you're flying down winding roads.
