Hello all! The new shop on Third Street will have its grand opening tomorrow! Come by and have a look! I'm open from 10am until 6pm, and there'll be free tea, coffee and cupcakes as long as they last.

Also, I'm looking for sales help if anyone wants to put in a resume. Experience an asset but not required.

[Residents of the motel might notice that, beginning Sunday, there's a new maid around the place. She has a cart and goes room to room to do all the "normal" upkeep - sheets, towels, vacuuming. She'll stick to the same schedule as the days pass by: first the rooms, and then she can be found in the laundry room at the back of the motel - washing and drying and folding and restocking her cart. She wears a uniform, but no nametag, her hands shake sometimes as she works, and she doesn't say much as she moves around the motel doing her job. As time goes on, sometimes she'll be seen walking to and from town, most often to the bus station but sometimes to pick up a few small things from the grocery store.]

[Several days into the new year, when she's finally received all of her gifts, had a chance to look through everything, and hide it. Then she has to go through the process again, as she's moved from one level of the center to another. They tell her that the first part of her stay there is over, that her withdrawl dymptoms should start to ease, but there are still so many that linger. Nevertheless, she gets a new (not quite so spartan or supervised) room. And a tiny step up in "freedoms".]

thank you os much for everything you sent to me for christmas. i think they didn't want to give me the tea, but they couldn't find anythign wrong with them, so i did get them. i'm kinda hiding all the food for now but i had jsut a little of the peanut butter fudge. i dont go outside yet, but i've been wearing everything else.

[The stuff arrives in individually wrapped paper that looks to be handpainted with watercolors in crazy-mad swirls. There's a game, there's some mugs, there's a shirt, there's a book, there's a poster, there's an incense burner, there's a wonder, and there's a speaker with a little game installed.

The final item comes in an envelope, and it contains an experience for two. The note inside is written in calligraphy of alternating colors, and it says, "Get turnt, baby!"]

[The letter is left at night, tucked under the front door though it looks like something that should be hand delivered. The envelope is white and sealed with an iron red wax, a stylized B pressed into it, the opposite side bearing only Louis' name in script. The paper inside is of the same white as the envelope with black ink. While he prefers newer things, a man of antiques would seem to prefer older ones, and the flow of letters seems stifled at the beginning and more relaxed and flowing toward the end. The writing takes up the whole page.
