Make no mistake about it, Shiloh knew precisely where Kit was currently housed.
Shiloh had been comfortable in Repose, yes, because the town was a veritable destination for lying low. Perhaps there were even travel brochures, ones discreetly sent out to villains and runaways alike, because never had he conceived a place less interested in outing criminals hiding in nooks and crannies and shadows. Here, no one asked about his past, and no one cared about the news, and there was no threat from local authorities. Even Father's generously offered rewards (if someone helped in apprehension of the murdering orphan) went ignored. Here, no one gave a... well, you understand.
So, yes, Shiloh was quite comfortable, generally speaking. But now Kit had arrived. Kit, who he only knew from his extended vacation at Club Med, AKA, the hospital the prison utilized when cases were too dreadful for the infirmary. Kit's presence here was dangerous in a way that was only trumped by the hell Heath and Chris could shower upon him. But Heath was too much of a cupcake to send him to his death, and Chris was largely absent. Kit was an unknown and, as such, required inspection.
Which led Shiloh to the B&B early, the sun barely present in the sky as of yet. He was there under the pretense of having breakfast in the dining room the B&B possessed, and he wandered into the sitting room idly and in pink.
