[After this, ads go up 'round town and in the Capital 'bout the Repose Carnival having special shows leading up to Christmas and to New Year. The flyers promise holiday themed extravaganzas, and they're real colorful, festive and plentiful. Tickets are specially priced for the shows, and decorations start going up almost immediately.

Too, there are notices 'round the carnival itself, all written in Misha's hand apologizing for the erroneous information given on the forums and clarifying that anyone who made plans already to be out of town is real welcome to keep their plans, but that anyone staying to work will get extra pay for the holidays. The note also reiterates that they'll be closed during the day on Christmas and food will still be on offer (along with transportation) at Wainright Manor.]

[Sent through the mail, and wrapped in an outward layer of deliberately non-Christmassy paper: a copy of Gulliver's Travels, to Kill a Mockingbird, a Christmas Carol, Robinson Crusoe, Anna Karenina and the Secret Garden. There's a note. 'A selection, so you can find out what your tastes are. the Secret Garden is a child's book but I thought that forgivable given you'll have forgotten if you'd read it already (I can say that, can't I?) I've included Anna Karenina because I'm taking a chance because it'll continue to belong to me rather than you. It's less kind than the others but it's romantic, be warned.
