[The box is small and white, wrapped with ribbons of red and gold. Inside, there is some candy cane confetti, metallic red and white bits that serve no function aside from festivity. The gift: a key taped to a business card. The business card for an interior design service based in the Capital. There is an address written on the back of the card.

Investigation on her part will lead to the following discoveries: The apartment is not a penthouse, but a large single bedroom in a luxury complex in the Capital called Broadstone Village. There is no lease, rather an arrangement for the bills and rent to be paid on a month by month basis. She also is gifted with an account via the interior design service, as the apartment is currently bare. There is no predetermined credit limit for these design services, although large ticket items(those exceeding ten thousand dollars) will need to be cleared with her anonymous benefactor by the design office prior to purchase.]

[As requested, something sweet. The cake fits inside of a square shoebox, which is wrapped in reindeer paper. On top of the box, in loopy, girlish letters, there is a warning: This side up!

The dessert is not bakery beautiful, but rather obviously homemade. It is comprised of thin layers of cake with nuts and apricot jam all in between. There is a silky chocolate glaze on top, and it has been cut into squares. There is a Christmas card with the box. It has a jolly Santa on the outside, and more of the loopy handwriting on the inside.

[The card is blank inside. No note, signature, or well wishes. All it contains are a stack of gift cards from the local hardware store and also from a Home Depot in the Capital. There are five for each store, each one for a balance of one hundred dollars.]

[The Top Shop items are neatly folded inside of a large Christmas bag. 1, 2, and 3. They all have a small hole where the security tag was cut out, but the hole has been stitched up and hopefully not horribly noticeable. This collection rattles around in a small cardboard box. Most, if not all of the bottles seem to have been opened and partially used. There is a card in the box with the nail polishes. Inside, it reads, I've never given a manicure before, but I'm good with paint, so I'm willing to try if you want for you and your friend. Merry Christmas!]
