[Early Monday, Secret Santa assignments are sent to Repose residents. Surely someone posted a notice somewhere, indicating that residents would be receiving Secret Santas (to increase goodwill and joviality during the holiday season), but perhaps it was very small and mostly missed. Regardless, assignments come in the form of first name and surname initial, and they include information to log into an anonymous forum account for the duration of the event.

Private information for recipients is not provided (though recipients themselves can provide the information when they are contacted by their Santa), and gifts can be left at the local post office and discreetly delivered (daily) throughout the month, with the final delivery taking place on December 23rd. There is no spending limit noted, and as many gifts can be delivered as the Santas desire.]
