The shop was called Fabulous Oldies. Not the best name for an antiques shop but it sure attracted the tourists around Los Angeles. For years anyway. Jennifer Bloom's grandmother, Kitty Bloom had owned it, naturally she obliged and took it over when some 'instances' had been taken care of. The woman was dressed in good black slacks, dress flat shoes, and a crimson blouse. Her hair was straightened instead of those vibrant and bouncy curls and she stood behind the register.

At first it seemed like a lazy afternoon as she quickly stretched and yawned once, that was until customers came around and browsed, then she had to be on her best behavior. All fairytales had happy endings didn't they? Wrong. She had gone her own way... why? Could have had a husband... a daughter. But like the objects, those things weren't hers. A frown was brought to her lips as she moved an ivory colored hand to collect the bit of curtain in the window, setting it back with a tie and let the sunshine in.

"See anything you like?" her voice asked softly to a woman on her right.
