This is the first step in Gordian recruitment. Students were invited privately via Hermes Network interaction for a Headmaster approved ‘Honors Program’ testing. Students who compete will be fighting for a spot in an extra curricular group that will be considered the best of the best on the island. Competition and a competitive spirit are encouraged. No students should suspect this as a malicious event in connection to Gordian activities.

There are two tests.

Test 1: an obstacle course which includes land and sea parts. The land part is traditional for military training, with the added bonus of soccer balls being thrown from a machine at you (which you must dodge or destroy).

Test 2: a Tetris like puzzle box that is white hot. The pieces react only to magical will, so you must both have the intellect to solve the cube, and the magical ability to make the pieces move without touching them.

Please note that not every student can be Action Jack or Genius Puzzle Solver. Students who do particularly well will be looked at to be a Gordian, so please remember that this thread could change your character’s plans in game.
