Melissa had stayed at the health center for a little while after Nevan had checked her out. She was given a small vial of a calming potion in case when the one they'd already given her wore off, she went back to panicking. She started walking, unsure of where she ought to go. Back to her own apartment, maybe but she was afraid she'd fall asleep and she wasn't sure she was ready for that yet. She was already halfway there when she realized her feet were bringing her in the direction of her brother's apartment. And the closer she got, the more she realized she wanted to see him more than anyone else. She wanted to make sure that he was alright and though it wasn't likely that he'd be able to assure her that their other siblings were perfectly fine without getting them on the phone or something, it would still comfort her to hear him say it.
It was chilly and the wind was stronger than usual, so as she walked, she pulled her light jacket tighter around herself, her blonde hair whipping around her face. She was taking deep, measured breaths and internally repeating the mantra that dreams are not based on reality and that nothing in that nightmare was real or true. But the images still flashed inside her ever busy mind and the sound of her sister's screams were still too fresh in her memory.
When she reached Woody's door, her cheeks were pink from the cool air, but she still had that appearance of being shaken deeply by something. She knocked on the door and took another deep breath, hoping that her oldest brother was there.
