( Just some catching up, )

J was in the garage, attempting to balance her work bag and a couple of grocery bags. She'd stopped at the store on the way home and had done a little shopping for dinner.

Noah was in the Mocha, enjoying a a very large coffee and a sandwich while reading a good old fashioned newspaper. He was waiting to go into the studio but that wouldn't be until dinner time.

Grace was on the roof in the hot tub, head back on a folded up towel, watching the sky from behind her sunglasses. It was good to have a night off.

Stone was enjoying an afternoon dinner-spoiling ice cream cone with his (half!)sister, Cassidy at the ice cream place in Vine Square. As luck would have it on the nice day, they were sitting outside at on of the small wrought iron tables and talking about the end of school and the upcoming summer.

Gilly & Ben, Lobby & then some:

Gilly had gotten out of school early because of the carnival and with no homework. She was due to meet up with the Rutherford Toms Shoes kids soon so they could set up at their booth at the carnival. As luck would have it, she was heading out of the stairwell right after on Benjamin Lyon had gotten off the elevator. She hadn't seen him around in a long while, on account of him being at college. This is precisely why she slung her messenger back around behind her and jogged toward him. Her only warning before she leapt onto his back piggyback style was a loud war cry of, "BENNNNNJAMIN!" Hopefully, he wouldn't drop her.

Casey was in a cheerful mood. Graduation was looming but school was going well, so she figured things were about even. Plus she was on her way back from shopping. She'd found the cutest pair of shoes and an absolutely adorable dress, and honestly, what girl didn't love finding clothes she adored?

She might've been cheerful as she walked through the lobby, but she was also distracted, hence her bumping into J. "Whoa, pregnant lady!" she said, hands instinctively going out to catch J. "No impressions of a bowling pin, okay?"

Gilly settled in after returning some quick messages people had left while she was in the hospital thanks to the damn news. She was lounging out in the living room, unable to make herself sleep even though she felt exhausted. She picked up her phone and sent a text to Casey to let her know she was home.

Home now. Bored as hell. Can't sleep. Come waste time with me even though there's school tomorrow?

It had been a week or so since J had started feeling the baby moving around and there was only one person who was more disappointed that they couldn't feel the movement yet thank Cotton was Lis. J found this amusing. Regardless it was the middle of the night when it happened. J couldn't sleep and had kicked Cotton by accident, which caused him to shift and then he'd gotten a little kick to his arm, which had startled him awake. She'd given him a total of ten minutes of groping at her stomach to feel the movement before she'd grabbed her keys, slipped on some shoes and headed for Lis' place. See, she cared.

The heat just came on in the vent by Lara's cafe table overlooking the river, so she pulled her hoodie off the back of her chair and slipped it on until the air coming out of it warmed up. She was waiting for Lis and J to show up so they could participate in one of their usual lunches, although this one would be more somber than most. It was the day before Gibson Hawthorne's funeral, and stuff still sucked. It was kind of amazing how someone's non-depressing death could make apartment 476 so depressed.
